I do not have a personal stake here but some of these reviews look kind of suspicious - there was an identical model used engine nearby where they tried to cannibalize a part? Hmmm. Anyway my dad used to have his old Crestliner w/ old Evinrude serviced here and was always happy with the service. I just had my 14' Klamath w/Honda outboard serviced and they called me a couple times to keep me updated. Then when I mentioned I was getting it ready to sell, they offered to sell it for me. It took about three months in this economy, but they sold it this week. I'm very happy they're a long-established family business. more

PLEASE DONT STOP! 12/6/2010

Bought a boat from them. Had to take it back after they said they tuned it up and it was running strong. I went to watch them work on the motor and was met with attitude by the lead mechanic. He did not want me to watch what he was doing. I'm glad I didnt listen to him because I saw one of the other guys walk over to an old motor and take a part off and start putting it on my motor. This pratice is backed by the OWNER. If I wouldnt of said a thing they would of let me drive off with a used very old part, not a new one like it needed. Live and lesson learned. Hope this helps you in your choice to buy from them or not. more

Not a good experience 3/30/2009

Ultimately, I had to take the boat to another shop to get it working, and they had my boat for months, baking in the sun. I took my boat to another shop and within a couple of days I was back in the water. That's the short story to a very nasty experience. Pros: Don't have any Cons: Work not completed. Not timely. Had to take boat elsewhere more

Worst imaginable service that I could have expected. Untimely, needing to be watched closely so they do what they commit to doing. Avoid using them whenever, wherever possible. 5/25/2008

Not at all engaged in meeting the customers' needs. They love accounts receivable though. Pros: Close to the highway so you can get away quickly before engaging their service(s). Cons: Poor service. Over-inflated costs. more
