Stanley Steemer Carpet Cleaning

Well where to start. The service was great. The employees were polite. The fact that my account was charged $730 twice....not so cool. Now comes the runaround. Since my account was overcharged and Stanley Steemer is not refunding our money until a week from now our other bills are bouncing and they continue to give my wife and I the runaround. Too bad. That's another customer lost...and money that I'm out on. I wish they would have simply responded, but I guess that's too easy. This should be fraud as I only authorized on $730 payment....not two. more

I've used Stanley Steemer for many, many years, they do a great job and do not leave until you are happy with the job. I have never had to call them back to touch up anything as I used to in the past with other companies. The techs are always very polite, and courteous. I love that they take the time to use foot covers and always put something under the legs of all furniture before putting it back in place. Never ever any hidden charges and always on time! more

I've used these guys for over 3 years now and every time I have them over I'm more and more impressed with their proffetionalism and workmanship. They not only do a great cleaning job but they also give you a lesson in how to keep your carpets clean and avoid permenant staining. more

We just got a new puppy and are in the process of house training her. She had a few accidents and we couldn't get the smells out of the carpet. We called Stanley Steemer and they use a protectant and deoderizer. We also bought a bottle of spotter from them. The smells and stains came out and the carpet is now protected from future stains setting in. Very pleased. more

My upstairs bathroom flooded over and my floors were covered in water. I had it contained, but had no way of getting the water out. Stanley Steemer came out and extracted the water from my house and helped clean up the damage. more

I highly recommend these guys! I was having a party and last minute decided I needed to clean my carpets. They were able to fit me in the very next day, at a convenient time. My carpets look so great that some of my guests asked if they were new! more

These guys are great! I've been a user of Dry Chem, and of course, doing it myself. I bought the yearly cleaning plan for 3-4 cleanings a year for $291 because I have little dogs who don't make the dog door all the time. Very reliable and thorough. I would highly recommend to anyone. Caring and concerned. Are you other reviewers sure they used the service from Gowan Rd. Just like any franchise, there are different owners to each address location. I didn't experience any of the problems mentioned from the other reviewers. I think they may have had bad experiences from other Stanley Steamer franchises, and since they're all owned by different owners, you can't judge them in the ""overall"" sense since they're ran by different people. I have just moved to Summerlin and have several properties that I need to clean up. I was researching a good carpet cleaning company and had asked around. Your review matches some comments others have warned me about. I have heard many good things about a company called Zero Rez or something similiar? I will check it out and follow up with a review here on Citisearch. more

I wish I had never called them in to clean my entire home...biggest mistake of my life!! I am left with grey patchy tye-dyed looking carpet in my entire house!!! Where they did not clean(??) under the rug when pulled back is the original color of an EVEN-TONED pale gold...we have only lived in this house a year this rug has only been on the floor a year...the corner edge of a rug that lay ontop of my carpet they started cleaning it and it was leaking black into the floor so there is a black corner edged shape also on the carpet now...so I now have a patchy filthy looking carpet on both floors right up to the baseboards and a dark grey corner in my great room what if I want to move the rug to another place I am stuck with it here to cover their mistake!!! They came out numerous times to redo areas and the puddle like patches came back worse even a few gray lines formed where their areas ended that they cleaned?? .I am a perfectionist and a cleanaholic!!! I hoover the floor daily and clean constantly now the place looks dingy. After I complained they sent in some ""carpet analysts"" they came back with a report that the fibers were scratched and caught the light strangely to look like dirt??? What a bunch of SH...T???? on the stairs the part of the steps that is vertical (obviously you cannot stand on these) are patchy too?? So please explain the wear and tear on these areas??? When we moved in the lady that had owned this home before us was bedridden and lived on the ground floor the upstairs carpets looked BRAND NEW!!!! No fibers were worn down and ""scratched""??? What a LOAD Of @@##$$%!!!!! I have posted pictures of my ruined carpets on photobucket just do a search and you will see the eyesore I have been left with....you cannot say you have not been warned..unfortunately there were no reviews on this company at citisearch before I hired them..lucky for you I have saved you from a similiar misfortune!!! So take my advice or be a fool....like I feel!!! Pros: What pros??? STAY AWAY!!! Cons: OH MY GOD just read my review please!!!! more
