I adopted Ranger a couple months ago and he has turned out to be a great addition to the family. Thank you so much for the opportunity to rescue one of the dogs.

Can't say enough about Dr. Standifer and his wonderful, warm, hospitable staff at the clinic. My dog had a very upsetting, life threatening situation and his needs were taken care of immediately. The staff was incredibly concerned and supportive. Dr. Standifer went above and beyond the call of duty in attending to the needs of my dog. In fact, he saved my dog's life. It's such a relief to know that the clinic can be counted on in times of crisis. The routine visits with my pets have always been excellent as well. When the chips were down, Standifer Animal Clinic came through with flying colors. A most heartfelt thank you! This is the place to go! more

\r I am only giving Standifer Animal Clinic 2 stars because they treated my dog on short notice when she had a bad cough this winter.\r \r But I can not stress ENOUGH how rude the receptionists were to me in person as well as over the phone. I actually switched vets because I moved to Pelham, and when I called for my doggie's records, I had to deal with the same bad attitude. It just made me hate them more and want to write this review. \r \r Also, Dr. Standifer (I guess that is who it was, because he never introduced himself) did not tell me my dog's back teeth were covered in plaque. My new vet told me that this would have been clearly evident one year ago and that they should have mentioned it (especially since I specifically asked the vet about my dog's teeth!). Now I will be paying for expensive teeth cleaning and anesthesia ($250). \r \r Much happier with Nall Daniels and it's friendly staff.\r more

So dissappointed that Dr. Standifer did NOT show up for my dog's surgery. Nor did anyone in the office bother to call me and let me know that she would not be taken care of that day. I had to call to check on her to find out that the Dr. Standifer NEVER SHOWED UP for our appointment leaving my large breed dog in a tiny crate all day where she was unable to stand or stretch out. I was appalled when I asked to see where she had been kept. She had to remain in fetal position to fit in the crate. more

Everyone really cared 10/19/2010

The doctors are SO nice and considerate. They talk to your animal like one of their own. My dog went in to get her stitches from spaying removed and get her nails trimmed. They only charged me for the nail trimming because they said it was so easy! Only $7! They obviously aren't wanting to rip me off. Everyone there really cared and that's exactly why they've been in business for over 50 years. Thank you Dr. Standifer! more
