Trustworthy Auto Service 4/8/2006

For 15 years or so my husband as well as a friend of mine have regularly utilized St. Lucie Battery & Tire for various auto services like oil changes, tires, batteries, and various repairs. The prices are always reasonable and the technicians are good diagnosticians who don't try to alarm you about your car needed a bunch of repairs, but they are honest about what your car needs and does not need. They are also pretty quick about what they do so you do not have to wait around forever. more

Excellent reliable auto mechanic 8/29/2005

I first went to this business for an ordinary oil change. I was so impressed with them. I told them I was concerned about my tires and was not sure if they needed to be changed. They inspected the tires, rotated them, and patched a hole caused by a nail. Then they told me that I did not need new tires! When was the last time an auto mechanic didn't try to sell you something? I told them that I knew nothing about cars, and they easily could have taken advantage of me. Instead, they only sold me services that I needed. They definitely earned my trust! I have returned every 3000 miles. I still have not had to purchase new tires! They tell me that they will let me know when I need them...and I believe them! more

  • Back in the early 1970's Fort Pierce residents could stop out on western Orange Avenue to pick up fresh eggs at the Miller family stand. An ambitious young man named Joey Miller was building the business, supplementing sales of chickens and eggs with a convenience store. Eventually Joey focused on selling rebuilt batteries and Farm Bureau tires, starting what locals know today as St. Lucie Battery & Tire.
