Great place for High School 8/19/2005

As an Alumni of SLUH, I would describe it as an institute of higher learning. The SLUH motto is also the Jesuit Motto, "Men for Others". I consider this a school that takes boys and makes men out of them. I also consider myself fortunate to have attended SLUH. They only accept about 25% of applicants. Applicants not only need the grades, but also the personality of the interview to become a student. This is a great place to send your kids. more

Once a Junior Billiken, always a Junior Billiken. SLUH, one of the top high schools in the country, accepts boys from all socio-economic backgrounds – as long as they can make the grade. This school is for the best and brightest. The Jesuit philosophy is to grab the future leaders of society and turn them into “men for others,” and at SLUH it usually works. A large endowment supports financial aid that helps to offset the steep tuition. more
