Political Homilies/Sermons 9/28/2012

Today, it is extremely important for priests & deacons to give homilies on politics. We have a president (Obama) whose VERY FIRST ACT IN OFFICE was to require Catholic churches to provide birth control devices to its employees, an act that is banned by our religion! Obama's first act/command was to violate the constitution of the United States; a constitution that he SWORE to uphold! Additionally, Obama claims to be a constitutional attorney!!! I have to ask which country's constitution he was referring to? It certainly wasn't the US Constitution! I have seen/heard Obama (at times w/his wife) on several talk shows lately and have seen the fawning and heard his retoric quite a few times recently. I find him frightening. I fear for our country if he is elected. I truly believe the truth is not in him. I stand behind Fr. Hart - Obviously he sees through the Obama "screen" to the untruths that Obama is rationalizing. more

Member there for 12 years, active in CCD and Nursing Home Minstries 2/22/2012

Good: I have felt this was my church home.I have been battling health issues fr the past few months and have not attended masses regularly due to parking issues. Very few handicap parking places available. Other wise I have been very please and proud to be a member. Bad: I attended service at 5:00 PM today. I rode trough the parking lot several times to find a close space I found a Pastor only space available half way down the parking lot. So I parked there and placed handicap placard on mirror. I came out as soon as I received Ashes to move my car. I knew I should not be in the pastors place, even though there were 4-5 vacant Reserved for Pastors spaces empty when I parked. I was attacked by a rude deacon for parking in his space. I apologized, but he was rude still.VERY!. Improvements: Not sure after being a member there for several years, if I am going back. There a culture of placing the parking places fr deacons over handicap church members. Then as a bonus, you get a very rude dressing down by the decon for parking in "his space" when I informed him I was handicapped, he stated "I don't care! This space is for pastoral staff only. Maybe you need to provide more handicapped spaces and less Pastorial reserved spaces. I guess I know just where I stand.. Other: Best get his kudo in this world, I am quite sure Heaven can wait for members like him, he will probably be the one breaking in linear he pearly gates. I cried all the way home after my I counter with this rude man. I can't believe he represents SEAS Staff, and I haven't been treated so badly by anyone like that in a long time, but never ever at my own church, or shall I say my old church. Not sure I'll be back to SEAS! this breaks my heart, after many months of not attending church, I felt called home. NOT. more

Looking for a new Parish 10/16/2011

The church is beautiful however Fr Hart is political. He preaches politics from the pulpit and disregards meaningful sermons. Every week they same polical message. Many of my nieghbors in Keller have left this church as their children lose interest in the irrelevant sermons. more

Ask for a tour 11/12/2009

They don't build churches like this anymore. It is cross shaped. The sacred space is filled with stained glass, tons of statues, artwork and a life size replica of the shroud of Turin. With programs to match, it is a great place for the family. After any Mass on Sunday ask for a church tour. You will walk away with rich new detail to your faith. more

A beautiful church 8/20/2005

My husband and I just moved to this area within the last year. On Easter I told him I wanted to go to a Catholic Mass. Well low and behold this church is right by our house. We indeed went on Easter and were able to see the beautiful interior of this church. When we got there, only standing room was still available, but it was worth standing there. The mass was excellent with everything that I expected and more. I would recommend this curch to anyone! more
