Great Style and Amazing Food 10/2/2006

I've had dinner at St. Charles Place several times. I find the place a real treat when I'm in the area. It's very rare to have such a stylish dining room outside of Chicago. The place has a great bar, incredible food, and overall just a really cool place to dine with friends or family. The prime rib dish is out of this world, the seafood in tremendous. The portions are fit for a king and it's friendly to children and adults. Overall highly recommended. Pros: Ambience, Food more

steaks and burgers 9/11/2006

The first time we ate there it was wonderful. The next time I got a burger, ordered it medium and it came out rare. Sent it back and the same burger came out with the raw meat juice still on the plate! This is not acceptable with ground beef. The manager finally agreed to take the charge off the bill but I left this restaurant as hungry as when I showed up. No real apology either. We won't be going back. Pros: Very pretty dining room. Cons: "The customer is always right" philosphy is missing here. more
