The Squeeky Clean team forcibly removed our screens from outside the house, even though they are clearly romovable only from inside. The frames for the screens were twisted, bent and the plastic parts were broken.
Pat came out to check out the damage and siad we should have told them not to remove the screens. this after he admitted that there was no way to remove them from the outside without damaging them.
RESPONSE FROM Squeeky Kleen Windows:
Our records show that the screens were damaged before we cleaned the windows in December 2009. The customer called the office to report the damaged on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We had a certified window and screen repair person go to the day house the day after Thanksgiving at 8:00 am with the person that removed the screen.
When they indicated that the screens were already damaged the customer called my father-in-law a lair. We were going to fix them anyway since it would only require a few inexpensive parts but he ordered us off his property stating that he was not going to pay the $300 window cleaning bill. In the end I guess he got what he wanted, we paid to repair the screens that someone else broke.
