Spruill called us last Friday to let is know that we were approved for their townhouse on Gillespie. They told is to bring the deposit in of $350 to hold the house. The following Wednesday we tried to take our deposit in and they had already given our house away to someone else. They never told us when to bring the deposit and we had already paid money to process the application that we will no get back. This place does not ethically do business and is very shady. more

Where To Start With These Apartments! When I First Moved In I Was Under The Impression That The Unit Would Be Cleaned Before My Arrival. Guess I Shouldnt Assume Not Only Was the Carpet Covered In Paint But I Had Old AppliancEs And Trash That Didnt Belong To Me Happly Decorating My New Apartments. The Stove Only Had Two Eyes That Worked, The Refrigerator Doesnt Get Cold, Most Of The Lighting Doesnt Work And If You Have A Problem Best Advice Is Your On Your Own. Installation Is Nonexistent And You Can See The Outside From In Your House. Also The Outside Lives In The House The Amount Of Critters Is Astonishing. Ill Spear The Details Of The Bedroom Walls And Bathroom. Other Than That The Rent Is Reasonable. Neighbors Arent. But After My Lease Is Up I'll Be Out Of Here. If You Like Slow Service, Cheap Rent And A Apartment That Even The Landlord Wouldnt Bother To Sleep In This Is Your Place. more

Yes the rent is cheap but this is not the best place to live. Th paint job sucks there is paint all over the carpets. The aparment was not ver clean when I moved in. NO weather stripping on the doors, when I tolde maintenance that I could see the outside from underneath the door nothing was done so I fixed that myself. The appliances are very very old my Refrigerator sounds like it is about to take off. The insulation is not very good the upstairs is very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. Electric bill averages 130.00 summer and winter with the thermastat set on 78 degrees. I suggest if you can afford to pay more look for something else. I can not wait for my lease to be up so that I can move. The only other bonus is that area is very quite and not very many children live there. more

These apartments are okay. When we moved in the apartment was far from clean. The cabinets and paint job leave something to be desired. However, if you are will to scrub the bathtub with industrial strength chemicals to cut through the soap scum and whatever that black stuff was, and can live with painted over dust, this place is for you. The good thing is that they are very accomodating for pets and the rent is really low. Maintenence can be kind of slow, so you just have to keep calling until it is taken care of. more
