Sprouts Cafe

Every time I visit South Shore, I always go to Sprouts, it's a must do tradition of mine. I always order the same thing when I'm there, and since I can't go up often, it is always better each time. Last time I was up there I took my friend who is vegan, she mentioned it as the best vegan food that she's ever had. Which is good seeing is that she is a still recovering anorexic. Now when I go there, it's even more exciting, because she always asks to come to Tahoe with me. The location there is amazing too. Right by the lake and next to a yarn store, I love to knit during my free time so it's a for sure plus. Rock on Sprouts!! Pros: Waiters are always smiling and always upbeat. Cons: At times it can be a bit crowded, it should be bigger. more

Sprouts is now back on my list of places to go here in town! They have since remedied almost all of the issues I had with them and it's really a good place to go again! Pros: Remedied almost all issues, now a great place to visit again Cons: Still don't take credit cards... but w/e more

Our whole family loved it! From the youngest to the aged. We stopped by after a long familly bike ride and felt right at home on our silly bike gear. We will be back...every time we visit South Shore! There are so many menu choices. As life-long visitors of Tahoe, we are so happy with this discovery. Give it a try. You will come back. In my opinion, this is one of the best restaurants to ever be opened! My older sister used to work in this restaurant, and I remember eating there alllll the time. Never a dull moment in this FRIENDLY eatery. The owners and staff are great, and the food is even better. Sure to be a place that you can feed your mind and your body well. A favorite among Tahoe locals that most visitors will be sure to remember on their next visit. Try the Real Tahoe Turkey...you'll love it! more
