Best

Love going to the depot...the bartenders are fantastic! Parking is easy and food is served until 12...can't really go wrong!

Worst

Decent atmosphere, great TV's, good food, but the staff negates it all. There was not a singe staff member who wanted to be there, much the less provide beverages or any semblenc...

Stay Away from the Brunch! 7/12/2005

We kept seeing the Brunch advertised and thought we'd give it a try. What a waste! First of all, it's 9.99$ so you expect something decent for that, but you don't get it. In addition, drinks (even juice) are not included. Also, when you do get the drinks --the refills aren't free (but who would think that when you are being encouraged to have refills?) The cost of the oj (which was a little juice glass) was $2.00 and $2.00 more every time you got a refill. And don't even let me start on the food...muffins that were still thawing out and eggs that clearly were made far in advance. Nothing tasted fresh at all. I might have to go on record and say this was the worst brunch of my life. Yes, I will say it--The worst! Don't waste your money. You'd be better off at McDonalds for breakfast. more

Disappointed 6/2/2005

I was really expecting the Sports Depot to be a great sports bar. However, my experiences there proved just the opposite. Firstly, the service is extremely lousy. It takes at least 15 minutes to get the waiters to come to you, and when they finally arrive, they are rude and slow(even when it is empty!!!). Secondly, they advertise that they have sound boxes, however, be warned that they only work with 10% of the channels. Thirdly, watch out for the manager! When we nicely inquired about the sound boxes, he aggressively asked us whether we were stupid and told us it didn't work with the channel we wanted to watch. All in all, don't go out of your way for the Sports Depot! Pros: Flat Screens Cons: Very Bad Service, Overpriced more

  • The Scene
With more than 50 flat-screen plasma TVs, including several high-definition behemoths, the Depot serves as a mecca for area sports fans. Thanks to multiple satellite packages, just about every sporting event, both professional and collegiate, are shown live, much to the delight of the many alumni clubs that congregate at the bar. Those needing a break from the action can take a seat outside on the quiet patio. Friendly servers deliver pints of microbrews and colorful tropical drinks from the well-stocked bar.

    The Food
Befitting a prototypical sports bar, the Depot serves up almost every appetizer under the sun, from fried oysters to creamy spinach dip. Patrons looking to stay in game shape opt for fresh salads or broiled fish dishes, while those needing a bit more sustenance stick to lineman-approved steaks and heaping piles of marinated turkey tips. Fried cheesecake and chocolate pudding cake provide one last caloric burst.
