For some reason in Chicago land Thai food has replaced Chinese as the Asian favorite. I recently decided to jump on the band wagon and try a few of the many restaurants that have sprouted up in the last five years.Many that a few friends wont shut up about. I have found that pad Thai is my favorite Thai dish and this place ruby of Siam makes the best in the city or north burbs for sure. They are 2 minutes off the old orchard 94 exit and definitely worth the trip to skokie for a date or dinner with the family. more

I love their Pad Thai. It is probably my favorite. Delivery man was very gracious. My only complaint was it took a bit for them to acknowledge the online ordering process, but it was definately no deal breaker! more

hands down the best thai food. their khao soy is theee best dish -- or anything with coconut curry for that matter. they have the best rard naar as well -- had it at a different place and it was just aweful. highly recommend ruby of siam! more

The food arrived really fast, and was absolutely delicious! Pot stickers were amazing. I would recommend the pad Thai- just don't order it hot. Way too hot! Mild or medium would have been perfect. Overall great place, I will definitely order again. more

Absolutely LOVE their pan fried chive dumplings, and often order those, a lime chicken appetizer and chicken pad thai. I've introduced these to friends who don't live anywhere near a Ruby of Siam location, and they loved everything also! These few items are my favorites, and my most common order. more

I crave their pad thai! 11/26/2002

First of all Ruby's pad thai is excellent. After trying a few other thai restaurants, I find just how great their is. The lunch buffet looks tasty but have not tried it yet. The atmosphere is charming and the wait people dress in their native clothing. Pros: great atmosphere, inexpensive, friendly people more
