This is just the best experience. I got a gift certificate from my employees and they said it was a sports spa. So, on my way home, I stopped in. It is a little hard to see from the road, but it is right across from the Courthouse.
I barely walked in and the whole group yelled welcome, like Norm on Cheers. A HUGE TV was playing ESPN and all I needed was a drink to be complete. But alas, no alcohol. I did get free peanuts though.
The wait was just about 15 minutes, way less than the "bargain" place my wife sends me to. I barely knew the time as I got into an Eagles discussion with another guy who i will probably play golf with next week.
I had the MVP and a regular haircut is not coming near my head again. I got pampered better than my last cruise by a very attractive stylist. She even took me to the showers, a play on words for the shampoo that is really fun.
They have some of the coolest stuff hanging and while talking to the owner found out his wife is a professional golfer and he played college basketball. There was a ton of stuff you can look at and most of it is for sale. I saw the same Johnny Bench autograph picture I bought for my office at a 30% discount over what I paid. Who thought this place up was a genius.
I got entertained, a haircut, a "shower" with a cute lady, a steam towel treatment and a light neck massage for $20. I might have to give my staff a raise for finding this place for me...so they can buy me another gift certificate for my birthday in February.
Pros: Ambience, skill, parking, happiness of staff
Cons: Hard to see from the road.
