Total con artist, he lies to get you to book surgery with him. He messed up my nose and cheek implants . Says he will do something before surgery and does not! Been trying to spea...

I was pretty messed up after getting in a car accident with a drunk driver. Soon after recovering from injuries, my doc recommended that I see Spiegel. He performed reconstructive surgery and I was my old self again. more

I trust him 3/30/2009

Not only was Spiegel friendly, but his stuff too. I needed some help on my chin due to a skiing accident and Spiegel was the guy to turn to. He talked me through what needed to be done and soon after, I felt good as new. Pros: Extremely Friendly more

Great Experience 10/26/2008

I had an injury that resulted in my being sent by my doctor to see Dr. Spiegel. My insurance covered everything and he provided excellent care with alot of attention. It's a busy office but I still felt like he wanted to spend as much time with me as I needed. He had an office full of people, some of them had flown in from Europe to see him, but he still spent time with me helping to explain how we could help the problems from my accident. Pros: caring, friendly, professional Cons: busy office at times - but it's worth it! more

I have referred several patients to Dr. Spiegel in the past. I have always received great feedback from the people I sent to him. In each situation, he has met and exceeded my, and the patients', expectations and provided compassionate and skilled care. Pros: Competent, great communication, caring Cons: Busy! Ready to find the fountain of Youth? 6/26/2008

After my procedure, I had regained my self-esteem. The surgery worked wonders on my skin; it tightened my skin and most of my wrinkles vanished! I look and feel like I was 20 years younger. In fact, someone on the street asked me if I was 47 years old, when in fact, I'm 72! I get recognized more often, thanks to Dr. Spiegel. all patients need compassion! 6/6/2008

I'm surprised to read so many good reviews on Dr. Spiegel. I guess even great doctors have bad days. My poor sister had to see him for repairs to her face after an accident. He came across as arrogant and insensitive, and caused her a tremendous amount of pain. Then again, unlike his Newbury street patients, she saw him in the hospital after head and neck trauma. She had to be squeezed into his busy schedule and it's her insurance company that will pay him. Perhaps her case was somewhat inconvenient for him. I can't help thinking, though, that a good doctor would have been more compassionate. It's scary to be in an accident and see how your face has been mutilated. A truly great doctor would have been able to reassure her. I hope and trust that his skill is better than his bedside manner for those patients who have no choice but to rely on him! Pros: medical center with great reputation and trauma center, office staff was very understanding Cons: Dr. Spiegel's bedside manner should be consistently compassionate more
