Best Thai I've had in Denver. And big portions!

Worst

The Masman curry was watery and the pad thai was soggy with a sauce that kind of tasted like ketchup. I also ordered the dumplings which were super dry.

First, delivery was fast. We ordered the Spicy Thai Basil Duck, Tropical Fried Rice, Pot Stickers, and crispy (fried) egg rolls. The egg rolls and pot stickers were delicious. The Spicy Thai Basil Duck came with nice, grilled slices of duck, although this will put off some who like crispy duck still on the bone - I prefer it sliced without bones. The Tropical Fried Rice was my least favorite dish, a bit bland by my judgment, but still above average. more

Always delicious. Very friendly service. Have ordered delivery at least 50 times with no issues. The Moon Harbor is AMAZING, healthy and delicious. The Spring Rolls with Shrimp are outstanding. Everything on the menu has always been tasty. Delivery is quick and the food always hot and consistent. more

VEGETARIANS DO NOT EAT AT SPICY BASIL ON BROADWAY!!! 11/29/2011

I ordered a vegetarian meal and stressed that I was a strict vegetarian, which I always did on the 5-6 occasions that I ordered from Spicy Basil. I will no longer patronize this establishment as my vegetarian meal was contaminated with a pice of chicken. I returned to complain and they said that the cooks use the same pans for meat. They took my information for the owner to contact me, but I never heard from the owner or manager. This is not a vegetarian friendly restaurant! Vegetarians avoid this place!!! more

Spicy Basil Lunch for One 7/19/2010

Lunch - Clean & quiet with pleasant music. Interesting art & lighting. Menu options are extensive and very reasonable. Surprised to find no hot teas were available!! Starter of fried vegetarian spring rolls were nothing special - don't waste your $3. Panang curry with white rice was very filling, perfectly scented & spiced. Nice presentation and a large portion. Pros: Large portions to take home Cons: No hot tea in an Asian place?? more

Super awesome food, great value for the money and the fastest service in town. 12/14/2008

I eat here 2-5 times a month, sometimes more. I can't say enough about it. The food is extremely good and fairly cheap. What makes it such a great value is that if you get lunch, you leave with enough for another meal. If you get dinner, you sometimes leave with enough leftovers for 2 more meals. The service is always fast and the food is fresh. One of the few places that never seems overcook the fresh vegetables. They make the best tofu I've ever had (try the sesame tofu!!! yum!!!) If you get delivery, it's generally faster than what they tell you on the phone and everything arrives steaming hot. If you haven't been here yet I highly recommend checking it out. Pros: Fast service, Great value for the money, Awesome food Cons: Styrofoam takeaway containers- take your own tupperware for leftovers. more

My family loves this restaurant. The food is just spot-on delicious, I haven't had a bad meal there yet. They just balance the flavors so well. And you cannot beat the price for such good food: $6.50 for lunch, $8.50 for dinner. The Vietnamese coffee is yummy too - it's not greasy or heavy, but the portions are still really generous and the freshness factor is definitely there. more
