I have had my animals under the care of Dr. Spence for over 20 years. He has saved many of my animals that could not have been saved by any other vet, I have worked for vets for many of my younger years and I can say that Dr.Spence is the best for diagnosing illness in small animals. His "bedside" manner in dealing with humans is not always the best but if you want your pet to have its best chance at a full quality life he is the best choice. more

Yes Dr. Spence has free roaming cats in his office.. These cats are either dumped off at his office or abandoned by owners when they are sick. Dr.Spence nurses them back to health and provides them a home at his own expense. Haven't seen any other vets around this area willing to do this. Personally I would rather take my animals to a vet who actually cares about them as opposed to those who are just there for the money. Dr.Spence has saved my pets numerous times. He is in intelligent and up to date with the most current research. He has no patience for irresponsible pet owners, so if this is you, steer clear. But if you want an excellent vet who gives a darn, my advice is Call him.. BTW, you should place your cats in a carrier and leash your dogs anytime you take them out. Maybe that explains your problem with his cats. As I said before RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP. more

This office has free roaming cats. My cat was recently attacked by those cats, and they refused to take any action; in fact, they chastised us for calling. \r \r I was informed by others that this clinic is currently being investigated as this same issue has been discussed with them in the past, and they have been warned.\r \r Do NOT spend a dime with this clinic. They are unprofessional, discourteous, inappropriate, and have no business being in business. more
