Even fun for the non-driver 10/31/2007

I've been to the Speedzone a few times -- the first for a company holiday party. I'm not an adrenaline junkie looking to strap into a dragster, but I thoroughly enjoyed being part of the cheering crowd. Even though I don't drive, I was able to virtually crash my motorcycle and my race car in the arcade. This ""fun park"" is definitely enjoyable...even for those with no driving skills. more

VERY fast go-karts! 11/18/2006

I'd been going to Scandia in Victorville for years and was fairly aquainted with riding go-karts. One day after work, a bunch of us decided to go check it out on the advice of a friend. We were told that these were serious go-karts. Boy were they ever! Slightly larger than their mini-golf cousins, these bad boys of the mini raceway ARE fast. Scarily so. Their arcade is cool too and I'd love to come back to try their mini drag racing. We had a blast! Cons: sketchy kids at night more

Avoid the weekends 6/2/2002

I couldn't bear to wait in line to ride any of the cars. So I can't say the cars weren't fun. I went on a Sunday afternoon, not the best time to go. There are a few cool video games, but nothing much else. There is a small bar and a couple of tvs to watch games. Good family spot. Cons: long lines more

it was a great experience. 5/30/2002

Editorial
  • Features
Live out your NASCAR dreams, stake a claim as the Tiger Woods of miniature golf or outscore competitors on the latest video games. Four racetracks offer a speed for all. There are 36 holes on the truly miniature golf course, many of them the size of pool tables. Or step into Electric Alley, featuring over 100 video and action games, as well as a cafe and bar.

    The Appeal

Fly around the Grand Prix's hairpin corners in Formula One racers. Mix it up with racing comrades on Slick Trax, where you can slip and slide around a twisting track. The more conservative Turbo Track lets kids ride with adults. The gem, Top Eliminator, puts you behind the wheel of a 300-horsepower dragster that takes you from zero to 70 mph in three seconds. Takeoff is epic but it's over before you blink.
