I have been going to Speedy's since I was a boy. This is my favorite place to have a nice evening with someone. For dinner you can have two entrees and split a bottle of wine for fifty dollars. The worst restaurant on the planet earth and I challenge anyone to dispute this clam after an awful dinner we made the mistake of ordering desert and when I found mold in the bread pudding I asked to see the chef he came out and apoligised and told us the board of health doesn't check the e refrigerator because its outside what am I in the twilight zone I have nothing more to say more

A real neighborhood tratatoria with outstanding food and reasonable prices. We tried the best seller, Spicy Chicken Alfredo Tri-Linguine and found the lunch portion adequate for dinner. They have a full bar but we settled on the ""any wine on the table for $25"" and it was excellent. The service is saucy and the meatballs are spicy but MMM! On a Friday night you may want to make reservations. We reserved the deck for my husbands birthday party for 30 and they did an awesome job! If you order one of their hearth baked calzones it may take a while but it's one of the best I have had.. Save room for the chocolate croissant pudding even if it's to share. I've taken some business contacts here and they loved it. Unassuming from the outside, cute and cozy on the inside. One of my most romantic dates with the boyfriend was here. What a great meatball sandwich. Very Italian. This place could do a lot to improve on the experience, like clean, indoor bathrooms. Good food alone, is not enough. It's also in a very odd location. Driving up to Speedy Linguine's you may take a look and want to pass it up. But take a chance and step inside to a world of flavors that will temp your taste buds and beg you to come back for more. The Lasange is the best around. The waiting staff is very attentive. The atmosphere is relaxing. Works well for couples or families. Well done Italian fare, including wine. Pizza and calzone are always on the menu, along with other favorites. Each day there are several tasty specials. The atmosphere is casual, the service friendly, and the food tasty. The outdoor deck is great, but available for summer only. We've always found the food to be delivered hot, and the serving staff is very attentive. This is one of our all-time favorites for this part of town. more
