This place sucks 12/6/2009

Interesting place, but not fun to work at.. The General Manager, Jesse Rogers, is a foul mouthed, temper prone little freak. Drugs really scrambled what little brain this douche may have had. Hours are long, if he screws up, you get yelled at, if you screw up, you get yelled at, if the sales monkey screws up, you get yelled at, if another warehouse screws up, you get yelled at.. See the recuring theme here?? Be prepared to see some of the stupidest, Rube Goldburg methods of doing your job, and the school yard games management plays. It's a bunch of Micky Mouse bullcrap that could be avoided if management was fired instead of the good employees. Pros: Some cool co-workers.. Scratch and dent sale Cons: Jesse Rogers more

Great Bikes, BAD Management 8/28/2009

I worked for Specialized Bicycle Components for a while. I worked for Brian (he was the bike side manager) Bob was the accessory side manager. I liked Brian, he ran a tight ship and really didn't seem to show favoritism. On the other hand Bob was a sleazeball, always on people, a total homer for you if you were on his team, would knife you in the back if he didn't like you. Guy would sit in his section with Kermit and watch horse p*rn (horses boning women) more than he would actually work. Bob was a sick pr*ck. Kermit was the boss that ran the whole show. He was a little foul mouthed tool. I think his name was Jessie but I can't remember for sure. To know that this guy is managing this place makes me sick. He has mastered the art of being an idiot. And Yes, Bryan & even sideshow Bob know this, but always kept quiet. I don't miss the place, but I do miss some of the workers that worked there. I had some good times, and some great stories. BTW the person that picks up the phone in the office HR manager, HA...is a total idiot...god I wish I could think of her name....I don't know how she's kept her job unless she's blowing Jessie's little pr*ck. Pros: Scratch & Dent Sales Cons: A Vulgar Kermit manages the place more

Not the best place to work 8/26/2008

Best thing about this job is the benefits and your co-workers. The boss is a foul mouthed individual with an ill temper and you will find blatent favoritism and descrimination. The pay is poor and raises are usually no more than .25. Expect to start at less than $10 per hour and not to reach that after a year. bonuses are given on an individual level and are not the same for everyone. You will be terminated if you discuss the bonus or your pay.. Come to think of it, you will be terminated for any little thing they can find although you will see others get by with the same thing. Even leads can do worse than you and be rewarded with trips to Colorado. the Human resources Director will belittle you and convieniently lose your paperwork when it suits her.. They will lie about your hours, and overwork you and refuse you time for your family.. I would NEVER work there again and tell everyone I meet about the horror stories from the warehouse. Pros: benefits are good. co-workers are friendly Cons: low pay, little chance for advancement or raises, blatent favoritism more
