I used Special Beginnings for both of my pregnancies. There are four midwives currently working there, and you get to see all four of them throughout your pregnancy. This allows you to get to know all of them and become comfortable with each of them before you are delivering. You have the option of delivering at the free standing birth center or at the hospital. Either way, the midwives are in charge of your care. Both of my children were born at the birthing center and I really appreciate the comfortable, welcoming environment that I was in. I also felt the midwives were very caring and were truly concerned about what I wanted my labor and delivery to be like. more
