We really enjoyed our meal today at the Lynnwood location. Great service, delicious food. For some reason I ordered the meatball sub, which I never would order. It better than the traditional, with spiced meat (gyro, maybe?), meat sauce, and lots of cheese. I didn't like the sesame seeds on the bun. The cannelloni was fabulous. The starter salad was simple but huge and really good. The "Danish cheese" made everything great. Better food and service than we had last night at Anthony's, at half the price! more

I especially love the pizza!!! Its all about the cheese... it creates a nice crust on the top of the pie and has the perfect amount of sauce. I'm getting hungry just thinkinhg about it!!! Pros: great service! Love the atmosphere... Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

Bring your appetite 11/25/2008

The pizza is thick and piled high. Too much cheese for my taste, but my husband loves lots on his pizza. The sauce is very good. Service is good. Pasta dishes are very good and come with that yummy grilled garlic bread and fresh fresh salad. more

There is nothing like this pizza! When my husband told me about this restuarant, I remained reserved until I tasted my first bite of Sparta's pizza. The Danish cheese is beyond belief. And the crust is "there, but not there", meaning that you do not feel that typical "stuffed" feeling when you are finished eating the whole thing! Today is my birthday, and the first place that came to mind when my husband asked me where I wanted to go, "Sparta's, of course". Pros: Authentic, fresh food. Cons: Because of the location is easy to drive past the restuarant. more

Best Italian Food in North Seattle 1/4/2007

Sparta's is dear to our hearts. It has a relaxed, warm atmosphere with always friendly and helpful servers. The food is wonderful and reasonably priced. Baked lasagne comes piping, and I mean PIPING, hot out of the oven. It's loaded with cheese that is just bubbling. The Sparta's salads are also yummy, with lots of shredded Danish cheese on top. The pizza is also delicious, with many toppings to choose from. My only regret is that we moved out of North Seattle way down south, and it's a half-day trip to go to Sparta's. We still make it a point to go there several times a year. Absolutely fantastico! Pros: Great food, great service, ALWAYS top notch Cons: Not close enough to where we live :( more

Mmmm Good! Let the Locals Tell You - Come Hungry! 4/14/2005

Bring your appetite for a fabulous, thick pizza or authentic pasta dishes to Sparta's in Lynnwood or Bothell. The Lynnwood location has been a mainstay and has regulars who swear by the food and the cheeky service :) Well sometimes it's cheeky. The pizzas are incredible - piled high with toppings and tons of cheese. The pasta dishes have a rich, homemade meat sauce and are served piping hot. Everything at Sparta's is homemade, usually made daily! And don't forget that all meals come with a house salad and a HUGE slice of toasted garlic bread - to die for! If you love Italian food, it's worth a trip up to Lynnwood to feast at Sparta's. Ambiance is lacking being on Hwy 99, so plan on focusing on your dinner companions and not the view. Bravo!
