There was a pizza place similar to Spartan as a child that our family frequently visited. The atmosphere brings me back to my ""old days"" (I'm 26 now). It isn't a national chain, so it feels more like a homey place rather than McDonald's. The food taste perfectly done from Greek Salads to Calamari. I have had most, and haven't had a complaint yet. Spartans is one of the unfound jewels in St. Petersburg. The food is great as are the people who work there. The best part of this restaurant is that they deliver complete meals including soup or salad and bread with any main course. When you get tired of pizza, call Spartans and get Veal Parmagiana or baked lasagna. They also have American and Greek foods. They make great grinders (sandwiches) and, if you must, homemade pizza.
