I was physically assaulted by this man after a disagreement of service and price. I filed a police report and could not press charges because I did not have a witness. Buyer beware, this man has a gun, which he has with him at all times, and the willingness to assault should a disagreement arise. Cussing and intimidation are par for the course. more

I called Mr. Sparks last week about replacing my A/C compressor. I told him what CarX had said needed to be replaced. He told me that in his years of A/C repair, the extra parts that they had quoted normally did not need to be replaced. (A $350 difference in repair price) He said he would replace the compressor and if the other parts were needed he could replace them also.\r \r He showed up with his big auto repair truck (pretty impressive) and got right to work. 3 hours later he was finished and cleaned up. He spent some time teaching me a little about my A/C system. My A/C is blowing cold now.\r \r It was so nice to be able to get things done around the house while he fixed my car instead of sitting in a repair shop waiting for it to get done.\r \r He was very friendly and professional and I really appreciated his honesty. He could have just replaced the parts I told him about and I would have never know the difference. He saved me $350. It is refreshing to find someone who puts honesty above profit. I will definitely use him for any further auto repairs. more

While on our way to Wisconsin in our RV we had what we though were brake issues, which we thought had been fixed by our now-former mechanic. Mr. Sparks was able to come to us, explain what he was doing, and get us back on the road in less than 3 hours. He included both of us in his discussions and then took us on test-drive to be sure we were ready for the road. His prices are more than fair and his customer service? Well, the man called us later that night just to check on us. I can honestly say no other mechanic has ever done that! Thank you, Mr. Sparks...you literally saved our vacation! more

Mr. Sparks showed up a few minutes early (it's rare for anybody to even show up on time these days!) and I appreciate him being prompt. He has a pleasant demeanor and got right to work in diagnosing the problem. Found a solution and got my 1995 Jeep Cherokee going in no time without breaking my bank. Quality work and very professional. Everyone cringes when thinking about finding a mechanic they can trust...and I did until today. It is refreshing to meet an honest craftsman. I will not hesitate to call him again in the future. Super job! more

I had a fuel filter plug up on our Ford diesel truck last week and nearly had to get the horses out of the trailer to pull us along like they do on the viagra commercial when the Dodge truck got stuck in the mud. It would've been comical but the man at the rest area near Greenfield, Indiana on interstate 70 referred us to Mr Sparks. He stocked the filter we needed for the power stroke engine and got our truck going again in very short order. I got to my destination in Illinois and as I was just east of Indianapolis going back home, the front wheel bearing went out. My dad said call that guy back and see if he can help you. Well, I called Mr Sparks and again, he was able to help. The bearing was siezed in the knuckle assembly and when his big hammer didn't loosen it, he got a bigger one. When he was nearly tired from that one, without progress, he got out his 12 pound sledge hammer. That did it. I kept him cool with lemonade I had in the cooler while he removed the corrosion from the knuckle and installed the new bearing. This truely is the best I've ever seen in service and the coolest, most ingenius personal business endeavors I've been privy to. If you live in central Indiana, you really should give this guy a call for your next service need. He's knowledgeable, well equipped, fairly priced, funny, a cowboy and he ain't bad to look at neither. Lynn Dilly more
