My husband uses this place as the measure for every cheese steak he eats. While the cheese fries are sad pale sticks drowned in a sea of yellow, all the sandwiches are downright tasty. Ask to have your bun toasted to give it more flavor. So grab a sandwich here and get your fries at Rebel House and you'll have your junk food bases covered. more

I hope you are a Steelers fan...or that you can tolerate staring at ALLLLL the paraphernalia! I think it's pretty cool to see die-hard fans...no matter what the team is! Okay..back to business. The place is in a not so nice area and really is a dive. Just remember, don't judge a book by it's cover. I have been several times in the past and will say that the cheese steaks are pretty darn good. I also tried the Belview Burger (grilled with creamy peanut butter)...it was interesting! Do yourself a favor (if you like some heat) and try Spanky's Habanero or Cayenne Garlic Sauce...yummy!\r \r If you're a cheese steak freak like me, keep a lookout for my other reviews. I found another place that is really good! more

I worked in a philly steak joint as a teenager and have been a devoted fan of the sandwiches ever since. Easily one of my top 3 cheesesteak experiences ever. The cheese mixture and juices melded together perfectly. The roll was soft and crusty. I'll be back everytime I pass through Margate. more

Good authentic cheese steak! The fries were nice size but needed to be more well done. The bread was nice but I like my bread not cut completely in half! I would rather the juices be absorbed into the hogie roll rather than the plate. But overall I liked it and will return. As for the Steelers theme, "hated it". more

I have been a customer of Spanky's for many years. They are one of the few restaurants that delivers to my condominium in Margate. The personnel are patient, respectful and very helpful. Their food is freshly prepared, delivered hot, and is delicious. What more could one want? I feel like I am back in my Manhattan apartment ordering food delivery when I call. I highly recommend Spanky's! more

margate wings are the best & love to spankx sauce 10/22/2008

i have to say i love the margate wing sauce i just wish their wings were a lil smaller so they cook better. love the beanless chili and the hot spankx sauce. the only thing i can say bad is that this place is in desperate need to be renovated or they need to move into a nicer location. just sux when your eating to look up and see dirt all around. Pros: awsome wings,chili, and cheesesteaks Cons: not the cleaniest place more
