Spa & Wellness Ctr-South Shore

I moved to League City in May 2004. I went to the spa with the previous owner. Yes they were different. I had a wrap which was a blue tarp! I was so surprised when this was what they had but went with it because they should have known what to use. I had been there for 4 months previously and enjoyed the massages. The therapist was not planning on staying since she missed her home town and eventually moved back to her home area. \r I met Dr. Vasquez during his first days at the spa. I was very glad to know that I would have everything under one roof. I have been receiving acupuncture, adjustments, massages, and therapy for my feet with great results--I can wear heels! I have received excellent care with each of my visits. I go for a visit when needed or every two to three weeks. I enjoy treating myself with a massage when stressed and feel relieved and relaxed enough to fall asleep. I have not left without satisfaction. \r My mother, age 84, drives from Louisiana for therapy left from a previous stroke and receives so much help with stability and circulation from massages. She won't go to any other chiropractor and acupuncturist. \r The building has been completely remodeled since my first days in 2004, each time I can see the improvements that have been added or changed.\r I am thankful for all of the wonderful people that work here and so is my mother!\r \r If you are looking for a doctor with a caring staff, then come and visit Dr. V. He is caring and compassionate to all as well as his staff.\r See y'all in a week! :) more

It doesn't matter that they didn't create this business....the new owners have only made it better! I had a wonderful experience at this spa!!! This place is clean, the staff is professional and friendly, and I had one of the best massages of my life. I have recommended this place to everyone I know and I will continue to do so. I have been going back once a month and i always get the same wonderful therapist who knows exactly what to do to get the knots out of my neck and back! I LOVE THIS PLACE! I was disappointed when I asked where my old massage therapist was. They were negative. They also put down the former staff and other local spas. I turned and began to leave and they told I ""should go elsewhere"" more

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at this facility. The customer service was top rate from start to finish. The decor is clean and modern, not gaudy or overdone, as you might usually find elsewhere in the suburbs! They provide so many services other than just massage, so I will definitely be back! I bought my wife a spa day package. She decided to go with her sister who was in town for the week. She said they were put in a pretty room (wood floors, decor and candles) for most of the day. She said the female therapists were very good and made her feel welcomed. She was walked to the shower and was fed lunch at the spa.She said she was able to get acupuncture for relaxation as well. Overall, she loved it and I was glad she was able to spend some sister time as well. I hope this review helps. We will be trying the couples massage next time..... I preface this by saying that I have had many deep tissue massages around houston. I enjoy getting a monthly massage. I recently lost my therapist to relocation.\r \r However, I have found a great therapist at this spa. She is strong and very friendly. I highly recommend her to my wife, co-workers and friends. The place is nice and clean. It is easy to find and has reasonable prices for the quality of massage that you get. The couples room is very pretty. Wood floors, candles, and a great feel. It helps me relax after a 70 hour week.\r \r I am a guy and enjoy getting facials as well so its a done deal for me. The new owners have upgraded the place quite nicely. This was by far the WORST experience that I have ever had. I can say that the people there were very nice and courteous, but the place and services were not very condusive to relaxation. I did not receive the full services that I paid for. The technicians cheated me out of part of the package that I paid for. And the place did not make you feel like you were at a ""Day Spa"". I walked out of the bathroom from rinsing off a mud wrap and encountered a male patron at the reception desk. He saw me in my robe. That was quite uncomfortable. They did not even provide slippers to walk around in. The bathroom itself was very drab and seemed unsanitary. The towels to dry off with were in a stack on the floor. And lastly, while I was getting my facial, the technician was text messaging when she would put the steam towel over my face. Not cool at all. And after all was said and done, after my message and facial I was not even allowed to take a shower. I had to go home all oily. I usually don't respond to these reviews but I figured it might help prevent someone else from wasting there money and their time. Thanks! more
