Liars!! I've been a long client of Spa Jardin but I will not be returning, after they told me my favorite massage therapist moved away to care for her sick mother I begrudgingly scheduled with their new""deep tissue specialist"" well after she kept me waiting a long time it was nothing more then feather strokes even after I repeatedly asked for deeper pressure. Here's the best part, about a month later I ran into my old therapist from there at the store (yay!!) then it hits me they blatantly LIED to me and used her sick mother as an excuse...this is not only outrageous but deplorable and they should be ashamed of them selves.. more

Most luxurious spa in Tampa! 2/10/2012

Spa Jardin in South Tampa is wonderful. My first visit there was two weeks ago and I've already made my next appointment for a facial. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and even beautiful. The facial does not compare to any other. It is truly an experience to go to this spa. It's is beautifully decorated and smells wonderful, feels peaceful. This is exactly what you want when treating yourself to a massage, facial, or pedicure. It was a mini escape. Krissy was my aesthetician and she was amazing! She did a beautiful job on my skin and really helped me to understand what products would work best for my particular issues. Not only that, but she understands that some people are on a tighter budget and cannot purchase a bunch of products at once, so she gave me options without being pushy and gave me samples of products (which I love) to try before buying. The moisturizer I purchased is perfect for my skin and I can see a difference already. She knows her stuff! I felt that she really cares about the long term care of my skin, not just getting me in and out the door like other spas in the area. I am client for life and beyond satisfied with the care and service I received at Spa Jardin. more

Not a good experience 2/4/2011

I had not been to Spa Jardin, but based on the great things I'd heard about it I scheduled a manicure and pedicure there to try it out. I was there at my appointed time, but a regular customer came in at the same time without an appointment and asked to be squeezed in for a polish change. The owner of the salon looked over at me, shrugged, and told her employee to take the other customer first. more

Fabulous service at Spa Jardin 1/18/2010

I was recently at Melt Out getting waxed when I mentioned to my aesthetitician that I had a blemish on my face for several weeks that was really bothering me. She booked an appointment for me at the Spa Jardin, which is right next door, to get the blemish removed. When I showed up for my appointment, Melissa did an amazing job of removing the blemish and cleaning the surrounding area. Pros: amazing service Cons: you never want to leave more

Wonderful spa with great staff 1/14/2010

I am a regular customer of Spa Jardin and wanted to write to let everyone know this is a top notch spa. I am in my mid 30's and really enjoy going to Spa Jardin even if it is for a quick wax. The pedicures are wonderful (thanks Dawn) and the staff is very accomodating. There is nothing better than a pedicure and a glass of wine. The atmosphere is beautiful and I always feel like I am in another world when I visit the spa. I have very sensitive skin and the facials are wonderful and Karen really takes the time to make sure that you get the most out of your visit. I highly recommend everyone try Spa Jardin because you will not regret it. more

Spa Jardin = heaven 1/14/2010

Spa Jardin is the nicest, most beautiful spa I've ever been to. They do a remarkable job keeping the spa fresh. It's a little different everytime you go - there's always something new to discover. Even the treatments are seasonal! The attention to detail is so refreshing, there are indulgences around every corner. It's like they thought of everything. This spa is in my neighborhood so I was excited to get a gift certificate. I'm a veteran of spas all over the country and have taken many week-long spa vacations. I finally had a chance to call to book services. Always get voicemail and never got a prompt call back. I have never had a real person answer. I finally got my first service--just a simple manicure. I was the first appointment of the morning and the manicurist didn't take me promptly. She was very awkward with the file and the manicure wasn't the shape I'd asked for. However, she did have good advice on color and was very nice. just junior. The product used stayed tacky for a good hour, which is more than any other product i have ever had applied in 30 yrs of manicures. I can appreciate not wanting to use rough chemicals, but I did not have an hour to sit around and dry. Perhaps I might've been told that when I booked and I would've booked another day. Management needs to pay attention to more than the decor (which is lovely). They need to deliver on the service. I have a busy life and I want someone to want my business enough to answer the phone and return calls promptly. I want to do business with spas that are run professionally and know the value of actually answering the phone and making clients feel welcome. Not this spa. It'll be a while before I use up the large GC, but once I do, I won't be back unless I see a change in customer servce. The BEST facial and massages in Tampa!! 8/4/2009

I have had many facials in the Tampa Bay area and noone has come close to Spa Jardin. Melissa is simply amazing and I can't get enough. My skin has never looked this healthy and smooth. Although the price of the products are on the higher side, it is well worth it! Even my husband is hooked on these facials. He goes to Krissy and says that she is a miracle to the skincare business. Gloria gives excellent massages! Most people don't have the stregth to give a great massage, but Gloria has never failed! I love Spa Jardin and when we move out of South Tampa, I will still continue to use them. A treatment at Spa Jardin or Melt Out is like hanging out with your girlfriends in an incredible environment. There is always something new to see and the decor is just amazing. Best secret in south tampa! 4/1/2009

I have been going to Spa Jardin for many years and continue to be amazed at how attentive the entire staff is to every detail. Every time I step in the door, I feel like I've stepped into happiness. I know that might sound a little silly, but you just have to go in there and you will totally understand what I am talking about. The music takes you away, the aroma from candles and herbs and of course, all the happy smiles from the staff - I just can't believe we have this place in Tampa. More often than not when I call this place I get a recording, not a live person. I leave a message, but they never call me back. I have to keep calling back until I get a live person. Waste of my time. Pros: None known Cons: They frequently do not return phone calls more

Best Spa around!! 1/14/2009

Received a facial with Krissy and an outdoor massage with Gloria and I have to say that it was fantastic!! I have never felt so relaxed and at ease. The atmosphere was terrific and that aroma of the spa was to die for. The outside area was so beautiful and tranquil. I have never seen a spa so beautifully decorated and arranged. The staff and owner were so kind and considerate and treated me like a queen. Has a cute little boutique area so while you wait you can walk around and just feel peaceful. I am thrilled to have found this place and plan on visiting frequently. Pros: Service, Atmosphere, Everything really Cons: Honestly couldn't come up with even one more

Found this place by accident a few years back and have been loving it ever since. The staff is wonderful all around but Krissy is top notch! You will not find a better facial anywhere in the US. Spa Jardin. Spend your money some where else. 11/20/2008

They don't even think they deserve a single star. The owner is extremly unprofessional and was yelling at me on the phone while I was trying to figure out how to best solve the problem with the over charge on my credit card account. It took an entire day to get it fixed. I don't believe ""The Owner"" has any idea of what good customer service is. NONE. I have never been treated so poorly by an owner of a business in my life. The owner should be ashamed, You don't yell at clients. I didn't yell at you. I was trying to explain to you what your office manager had told me so that she would be able to help me in the situation I was in. I couldn't get a word in during our conversation on the phone because you wouldn't stop yelling. Do you really think that was apporate? I think you should have considered working with me and maybe LISTENED to me, and probably the situation wouldn't have gotten to the point that it did. Yelling at me and hanging up You lost a sale. Spa with great gifts too! 10/24/2007

If you haven't been to Spa Jardin in a while or never been, you are really missing out! Every experience I have had there has been truly amazing. The attention to detail left me feeling so happy and ""taken care of"" that I'm dying to go back. But what I was most surprised about, was all of the great gift items they have now. There is an entire ""Retail Room"" with the coolest gift items. Not stuff you will see everywhere either. Now whenever I need a gift for a friend, I just stop in at Spa Jardin because I know I can find something really unique. Plus they package it all up so pretty and spray with this amazing scent. I think it's the kind of place you would see in New York or California, and here we are lucky enough to have it right here in Tampa! I thought I'd try it out. I love spas. Their policy is to take your credit card number to book an apt. I don't like leaving my card number and exp date etc., around where it may be used again. Since I don't know how they track things or if their employees, in writing down all of that information on the phone, decide to write it down and save. They were not at all understanding of this concern and acted like I should trust them, although they don't trust me enough to book an apt without all of that. It really turned me off and I found them to care more about themselves than their customers. There are plenty of places that do not make this ridiculous demand. Fave-Fabulous! 8/3/2007

This is my most favorite place in South Tampa and I have traveled the world and visited many spas! Without a doubt, each and every service is superb. All details are thought out, down to the most amazing smells that will follow you long after you leave Spa Jardin. The facials are the best in town and everyone in knows their pedicures are the longest lasting around. I also just love the staff, they are always bring me quaint teas and stuff to nibble on, I love it, they are all so fabulous! more

Take in the scents and sounds 8/3/2007

I just love Spa Jardin, not just for the great services, but sometimes on my way home from work I stop in to just take in the scents and sounds, and to see what is new in the retail boutique. They are very good at always having unique finds there. Anytime I need a gift, I go straight there to get it, they always have the perfect gift for anyone!
