Spa Connection

I came in for a pedicure and shellac manicure. Pedicure smudged before I left the salon, and no way did I get a shellac manicure. It started peeling and wearing off after 3 days. On the 4th day I gave up trying to touch it up on my own and took it off. more

I will never know if the spa services are any good at this salon, because these people refused to honor my Living Social deal even though I called several days before the expiration deadline. When I called Living Social, they confirmed that the spa was contractually bound to make an appointment for me but they spa stil refused. Living Social refunded my money and apologized for the "confusion" exhibited by Spa Connection. This is a case of selling too many promotional massages and refusing the honor the purchase. Shady! more

I understand things go wrong, appointments run late, or even an employee doesn't show up for an appointment. But the least you can do is offer something besides a sorry. I didn't even get offered a cup of coffee, or a glass of water, like most salons do when you are waiting for an appointment. I live 30 minutes away, so I wasted an hour driving, and half an hour just sitting there waiting for the massage therapist to show up. I eventually had to leave because I had to go to work. So in total I wasted and hour and a half of my time and I didn't even get a massage. I had a living social deal and I had to ask for a refund back because I refuse to go back to this salon. I buy these deals on living social to check out new places, and when I really enjoy it, I definitely go back. This is one place I will definitely not go back to. more

I drive over 30 minutes from my home in Oberlin to the Spa Connection in Berea--that alone should serve as testament to the high quality of services offered by the salon in every area. The management and stylists are all exceedingly friendly and intent on making my visit as comfortable and pleasurable as possible--from the warm welcome when I enter the salon (and delicious treats on Saturdays!! Yay!) to the amazing and stress relieving head massage during shampooing. Hat's off to my stylist (Paul aka Jake!!!) and the other staff members for doing a superb job and being a model of professionalism, efficiency, and integrity! I also can't wait to see how the renovations turn out--further proof of management's commitment to the comfort of not only its customers, but of its staff, as well. more

This salon has an array of services. It truly has a welcoming friendly atmosphere. I have been a client for over 10 years and use most of their services, color, highlighting, haircut styling, pedicures and acrylic nails. I have had most of the stylist cut and color my hair. Mary has done my nails for at least 8 years, Mary, Kailin and Maureen are great with color and cuts. I have had many friends ask where I go to get my hair done and many of those friends are now clients. I would highly recommend the Spa Connection!! more

Just moved back from Tenn. so I decided to try this salon since it was close to my husbands work. Went to a girl named Mary Customer service was horrible, waited 15 min after my appointment to get seen. Had highlights put in, they were supposed to be a carmel blonde, instead they were more like orange. not to mention a lot of my hair was breaking off from having to go in a second time to get them fixed. I will never go back again and i strongly recommend staying away from this place! more
