I was sent an email from this kennel telling me that my 4 month old puppy needed all the vaccines that a one year old dog is required to have before they would accept her. Of course my vet said that was unhealthy. Don't trust these people. more

Steer clear 1/26/2014

Steer clear!! There are many decent kennels in the southlake area, this is NOT one of them. It's a puppy mill disguised as a kennel! The trashy owner breeds her poodles on the premises and not only that but these breeding poodles live a horrible life contained in cages their whole lives. Employee turnover is about 90% I could go on, but do your own research, or visit this place for a tour and see for yourself. more

Nothing But Great Things! 2/17/2012

I have nothing but great things to say about Southlake's Bark and Purr. I took my boxer there for 3 years and now I take my bulldog as well. The staff and owners are wonderful people and they provide excellent care for our pets. I would highly recommend them, I always know my dog is safe and well cared for. more

Completely Happy 2/14/2012

I usually take my dog everywhere I go, however because of some complication I wasn't able to, and I was forced to board her somewhere. My friend had recommended Southlake's to me, so I went with them, and they were surprisingly wonderful. I am completely happy with their services. I definitely know where to go in case I have another emergency like this last one. more

I love Southlake's Bark and Purr Pet Retreat. I know the staff there really treat my cat well. I never have to worry for a second when I leave her there. The facility is very beautiful and clean. I wouldn't leave my cat anywhere else. more

great experience with this day care 10/20/2011

We had a great experience with this day care. I had a last minute emergency and sent my Bulldog over for the day. Sam, my dog, was relaxed when I picked him up and I would definitely use them again. Good pricing too!!! more

This place is Brilliant-the staff and management are incredibly friendly and always aware of each dog's individual needs.The facility is always kept clean and orderly by staff . Dogs play in a safe environment .I highly recommend Southlake's Bark & Purr. SBP is a great place to bring your pooch. more

Super Awesome 10/17/2011

The staff here is super awesome. Every time I come back to pick up my dog from here, it seems like my dog is sad to be leaving, so I know they have treated her very well, and for that I am thankful. more
