I have never been treated so rudely by so many employees at one business on so many separate occasions. I brought my dog here following a dog fight that had left her with a small hole on the skin at the bottom of her abdomen. They performed a surgery on her, which was not done correctly, and my dog nearly died as a result. When I called them the very next morning after the surgery to tell them something was clearly wrong, and my dog needed to be seen, they told me they could not see her that day, that they were booked, and went on to offer me an appointment for the following day. I cried and said she might not even be alive tomorrow, you did this surgery on her, and you are actually not going to see her, when im trying to tell you something is wrong??? No, they wouldnt see her that day. At that point I called my regular vet, who had me bring her in right away. (This had happened around 7 in the evening, and my vet was closed already or i'd have gone to him to begin with. Babylon Animal Hospital was the closest to my house that was still open.) My vet was horrified to find the condition they had left her in, and he pointed out the lack of knowledge on the part of the ""surgeon"" at Babylon Animal Hospital. He told me any vet performing surgery on a dog's abdomen must know that the skin has to be stitched to the muscles at the top of the inside of her abdomen, otherwise fluid would have a place build up, which is what happened to her. The tissues inside her stomach were so infected as a result of the bad surgery Babylon Animal Hospital had performed, that my vet had to give her another surgery, the correct way, and had to remove a large amount of infected tissue from her abdomen. If I had no other vet, and I left it up to Babylon Animal Hospital, my dog would be dead right now, and Im not exaggerating in the least. I am sharing my story because I hope to prevent this from happening to other pets. Even after all that, I was still kind to them whenever I've had reason to have to call Babylon Animal Hospital. Today I called to request removal from their mailing list, (as I have several times already). I was kind to the woman who picked up the phone, and was treated with a sarcastic nasty attitude and hung up on, without my request being fulfilled. This business has proven its inadequacy to me many times, and i pray for the poor animals that find themselves in the care of Babylon Animal Hospital. Thank you for taking the time to read this, I hope it helps you to make the right decision for your beloved animal. God bless.
