South Pointe Apartments

Great place to live. I have been here over three years and enjoy all that this small community has to offer. They offer amenities for all different price ranges from non-renovated apartment homes for the less fortunate, to the upper class renovated apartment homes with new appliances, vaulted ceilings, new carpet and laminate flooring. Maintenance always responds within 24 hours of a formal complaint with the office. Management is always available. It is a safe community with a few Sheriffs that live with-in the community. The only complaint that I have is that the leasing agent for this community is a ditz. Other than that, the pool area is generally kept clean, a great place to bbq and hang out with friends/family during the day. Also, the siding and rotting wood is being replaced and the community is about to get a fresh coat of paint and the landscape work is beautifully kept. Pros: null Cons: null more

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Dead mice in the walls Have had to call more than once or twice to get maintenance man out as person in office was not relaying messages Roof Collapsing on other side of my building Huge rotting areas on outside of my building structure. Ceiling fell in kitchen! Water dripping in light in kitchen when it rains (Still happening) Roof leak damage (Several spots throughout the apartment) Unsafe rotting wood in outside stairwell (you can feel it bend when you walk on it) Had to get ceiling patched all the way across the living room as the structure was weak and my ceiling fan was wobbling. Water pouring out from AC unit (Twice) unit not replaced Termites all over apartment (Massey has been out at least 15 times with no resolve) building needs to be tented. Been going on for 3 years. Mold smell in shower (bad) no wonder I?m sick all the time! Holes in ceiling that were not fixed properly Squirrels living in the roof (Never fixed properly as they are still living in there) Bees (finally removed after 2 years) Broken Drawer in kitchen (Maintenance attempted to fix 5 times and it?s still broken) Insufficient Washer Dryer Hookups upon move in (Had to fix myself) Broken Tiles in Shower with molded wood ( finally fixed but wood was not replaced Broken Disposal upon move in (Fixed) Broken Burner on Stove upon move in (Fixed) I got fed up calling about some of these issues because it?s never fixed properly and my complaints went to someone who was not relaying the message! I'll keep this short and simple. They allow barking dogs, screaming exotic birds, loud stereos, loud tvs, loud gatherings. After months of complaining and having to call Milestone Managements regional office this is the response I got: ""People are allowed to enjoy their homes"". They offered to let me move to another unit but why move when they still won't control the noise? I'm moving out asap and would never ever ever recommend a place that cares more about the people who cause trouble than the ones that are quiet and always pay their rent on time. I pay over 1k a month and the crap people living in the cheap units are the touble makers. Oh well this place can become a dump with the kind of people they want living here. more
