South End Boat Shop

I recently brought my boat here to get looked at for play in outdrive on 3-17-15. After no phone call for a week, I called there and was told mechanic would call. Five days later(today) decided to go up there and found my boat uncovered with rain and snow pouring in it, batteries were dead, and they didn't even put a wrench to it. The carpet on the floor is stained black and the seats are dirty. There is water in all of the compartments. They told me its going be a lot of labor to fix but couldn't tell me what's wrong with it. Asked for manager or owner but they wouldn't give me any names. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone even if they were giving boats away for free. Basically if you don't want more problems than you already have, don't go here. AGAIN DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! more

I had my jet ski repaired at the shop. They told me that the part would be ordered and they could install it and have it back to me the same week (by Friday). Friday came and went. No call. I called them and said they might get it in the next day but they had lots of other jobs going on. They told me it would cost $300 in labor to install the part. I picked it up a day later after arguing with them and paid $100 more than what they quoted. When I asked them why, they said it took longer than they thought and got angry when I asked. I wouldn't go back. There are better places to go where the quote (and time frame) matches or is under what is estimated. There were no additional parts or labor beyond the original parts.... only additional costs of labor which were passed on to me. I would recommend a written quote if you decide to go to this place. Friendly, helpful staff. I bought a used boat there, and am considering buying a new Bryant. They accept trade in's. I had my boat winterized during storage last year, and the boat was also cleaned at that time for no extra charge. I absolutley love to go here to get parts for my boat and I also bought a bryant boat here. They have great service and everyone is so helpful. I have had my boat winterized here every year for three years and have never had a problem. So I dont know what this other reviewer is talking about, he must of had the hole before and not have noticed. I have literally watched the service men winterize the boats and put them in storage with care and not getting a single scratch on the boats. So all have to say is that this is a great establishment. I brought my boat in for an annual winterization. The job was done in one day and I took the boat home and put it in my garage. The boat was covered so I just stored it for the winter. Well it's June now and I took the cover off to get it ready for the water and I discovered major damage to the rear port side of the boat.
