Doula Internship! 9/27/2019

Thank you to SCM for offering a Doula Internship Program! After completing my Doula training, I was fortunate enough to work there as a Doula intern. SCM offers care for women who choose to deliver their babies at the birth center or at home. From working in the office, to assisting at births, to working with my Doula clients, I was able to participate first hand in the entire birth process. All of the staff at SCM are amazing and all are passionate about what they do. I feel fortunate to have had this experience and know it will enhance my ability to support women in my career as a Doula. Thank you South Coast Midwifery! more

Love these ladies! 5/7/2009

I feel so fortunate to have found these women and their lovely birth center. I was referred here by a friend when I moved to the area while I was 3 months pregnant. The prenatal care was very personal and I never felt rushed or had to wait. My birth was the birth of my dreams. Everyone was so supportive and attentive - it was everything I hoped and wished for. I would highly recommend South Coast Midwifery and will continue to refer all my friends there! Thanks again SCM!!!!! more

I love this place! 8/7/2005

I just loved my birth experience with South Coast Midwifery. I opted for a homebirth and had the opportunity to have both of the midwives attend my birth. It was amazing. They seemed to know exactly what I needed without me even having to tell them. It was a dream birth and I wouldn't have had it any other way. more
