Everyone knows that pretty much any dealer will tell you what you want to hear to get you into the showroom, where they can work their voodoo on you to buy a car. It's the game we all play when we want a new car. So you do your research, figure out your best deal, and present that to as many dealers as you can to see who will bite. Most dealers will say, ""Sure, we can do that deal. Just come on in!"" And you come in and they say, ""Well, we can *almost* do that deal."" Then you go to the next dealer and the next, until you finally go into the dealership that will do that deal...until you spend hours doing the final paperwork and suddenly it's not that deal anymore. My advice: Walk out the door. This is what happened to me at South Charlotte Nissan.
Cons: don't trust them
