The doctor is fine, but the office is VERY poorly run. You will wait 45 - 60 minutes to see the doctor. Then you will get about 5 - 10 minutes with him. Just a huge waste of time. more

Dr. Schulman is awesome!! I had horrible cystic acne and I had been to a lot of dermatologists. I had been prescribed one antibiotic after another and none of them worked for long. Dr Schulman took one look and knew what to prescribe me to make my skin beautiful! He is very straight forward and he knows his stuff! If you want your skin problems solved, please go see Dr Schulman at South Charlotte Dermatology! You will thank me, but mostly you will thank Dr Schulman! more

Dr. Schulman is a wonderful doctor. Not only is he extremely personable and caring, but he was the only dermatologist who was able to diagnose my skin condition. I have been to multiple dermatologists over the years only to receive the wrong diagnosis time after time. Dr. Schulman knew exactly what my condition was after meeting me for 2 minutes. I cannot thank him enough!!! more

Horrible wait time. Taken my teen daughter twice and never again. First wait time was a hour. He was nice once we saw him. The second wait time was also a hour. After sitting in the exam room for an ADDITIONAL 30 minutes we left without seeing him. 90 minutes total!!! Are you kidding me??? I should send him a bill for my time. more

FANTASTIC. I am not fond of medical visits of any kind but this Dr. is truly a breath of fresh air. Before i found this office, i was told 1 and 2 week waits for dermatology appointments. I just couldn't wait...called and decided to see Dr. Schulman even though office is 2 hours from my home. Well worth the trip. Everyone was really friendly. I have seen the Dr. now twice and he is my only Dermatology option now. I had a no wait the first trip and a 25 minute wait the second (during the holidays). Not only is he incredibly fast and right on, he is super generous and helpful. Went way above and beyond and addressed 3 different issues in one visit without any extra charge. He educates as he goes and i felt very safe with his energy and with his assessments. Did i mention this was the cheapest option i found as well? Kinda unbelievable. more

I found Dr. Schulman on the internet. I was able to get an appointment for the following day. My waiting time was very reasonable (about 15 minutes). Dr. Schulman was both cordial and efficient. He went above and beyond what I was requesting by doing a body mole / skin cancer check. He also gave me an educational brochure on the topic. This was impressive to me as someone who was diagnosed with cancer only a few months ago. He treated my alopecia (my reason for the visit) promptly and I was on my way. Two thumbs up! I am writing a review because I did not have a good experience with Dr. Schulman's office. I read all the reviews and was very excited to hear all the rave reviews. First, the waiting time in that office was outrageous over an hour long for a consultation that literally lasted 4 mins. I knew I was having really bad breakouts on my face and my body and wanted to get some good news on how to fix it. He was talking to me about how I have bumps on my face that will never go away ( which I was confused by b/c they were pimples how does that not go away?) Dr. Schulman proceeded to talk to me about a Keloid I have on my arm that I have had for more the 15 yrs and how I need to be careful with deep cuts because I am at risk of getting another one. This was all information that I did not ask for because I knew all this already and because I was there for my face/body acne I was getting. He also said I had zits that ?wont scare? which for a person that scares very easy I was completely surprised by that statement. He proceeded to put me on a topical cream and this had once worked for me in the year past. I had been using it for over a month when I only saw things get worse. I called the office to ask if there was something else the Dr. can prescribe me as we briefly spoke about a possible oral pill. Their nurse was giving me such a hard time as if I was asking for pain killers and she said she would ask the Dr. and get back at me I never heard back from them. I started to become somewhat depressed because I have never had outbreaks like this before and I really wanted something to help. I was fortunate to finally tell a friend my experience and how I wouldn?t even go out the house to even go work out without makeup and he told me about his dermatologist and I called their office made an appointment. Their wait time was less than 20 mins, the nurses were polite and finally when the Dr. came out it was complete different experience. He spoke to me about why this is happening to me and the choices and spent a quality amount of time trying to come up with the best solution to help me. I don?t write reviews and even feel bad about writing this, but I feel as a women acne is a very depressing this and physicians sometimes get caught up in the ?Business? side and not really listening finding a good solution for their patients. I will not recommend Dr. Schulman to anyone nor will I ever go back. I found my new Dermatologist and will stick with him. more

My pediatrician in Fort Mill had given me doctor Schulman's name and told me he was good with children. She had molloscum and warts, and was terrified. He talked to her and explained what they were and how he was going to treat them. He told her that it would hurt and his honesty helped calm her. She was better than she is with regular vaccinations and she actually enjoyed the visit. Pros: Saturday,Friendly,Knowledgable Cons: None more

Excellent visit. Took my teenage daughter and he treated her like an adult, which she appreciated. Her rash had been misdiagnosed by her pediatrician and a PA in another derm office. He knew what it was from the history and looking confirmed it. Also noticed that my daughter was using tanning booths and after just one minute of explaining the dangers of tanning he got her to quit. She wouldn't listen to us. more

I went to Dr shulman because I had 3 skin tags to be removed. The problem was I didnt have any insurance. No Problem says Dr shulman. He removed all 3 of my skin tags for less than half the price of anywhere else I called. Very friendly and would recommend to anyone. more

My appointment at charlotte Dermatology with Dr. Shulman was a great experience. First of all, he made me feel at home. Very easy to talk to. I had procastinated the removal of some skin tags and when finaly I decided to go and take care of it. Dr. Shulman did not only took care of the skin tags, but also extra things that he found. Dr. Shulman is a very unusual doctor, He took his time with me and provided me with information that I needed to follow up on. His prices are excellent, I was amazed how low he was going to charged me for some thing my insurace was not willing to cover. I will reffered Dr. Shulman to any body. How a nice experience I had. I did not know that there were still exist doctor's such as him self. Thanks Dr. Shulman. I really appreciate what you did for me. Joe. more

South Charlotte Dermatology is a fantastic practice. They work with you as an individual. Everyone has different needs and I felt like Dr. Schulman really treated me like a person not just a patient. I would recommend it to anyone in need of a dermatologist. more

Got stuck bring my child in for a rash and she had molluscum. The doctor explained everything to my daughter and he totally had her trust. He was honest with her about what he was going to do and it was the first time a doctor was honest like that. She was better knowing what was coming and her calmness mead a possible screamfest into a pleasant experience. He checked her moles/marks and gave us a handout on skin cancer. more

Brought my child in on a Saturday for a rash and the doctor also checked her for moles. He gave us a lesson on skin cancer and I got worried. They had me do my paperwork and I got seen right after my daughter. Everybody was very friendly and accomadating. I know it can take weeks to do this and this was on a Saturday. I had a rash on a Friday and my prior derm couldn't get me in for months but recommended south charlotte derm. I was seen there on Saturday morning and the dr new what I had in a second. The treatment had me better quickly and my wife was glad I had a full body exam. Pros: No wait for appt, Nice staff and dr Cons: hard to find building more

Had a rash and nobody knew what it was. Other derms were booked for months and the doctor's staff got me seen immediately. Dr. Schulman looked at me and knew what I had. With one short visit he explained what was wrong and got me better with the correct medicine. He also did a full skin examination, which none of my prior derms ever even offered (though they were quick to offer botox). Wish I had called him sooner. more

Our family has known Dr. Schulman for years. He is a great doctor, well rounded, and has given us excellent advice through the years. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dermatologist. more

Great Doctor ... Saw me fast. Staff was super nice. I had a rash that was driving me crazy. Was really knowledgeable. Diagnosed it immediately and cleared it up. So grateful to this doctor and I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area. Had a great experience there! more
