Here locals donate food, money, clothing and furniture to help other in their community. It's supposed to be given freely, but the management here has unfortuately chosen to treat some people who apply for help as if they don't matter. I stopped here several times to drop off items I didn't need.
What I saw on more than one occasion was that folks needing help were talked to badly, treated as if they were dirt and it was bad to see.
I've also been told the workers take what they want before putting it in the thrift shop. Also the only things that are given are the things they can't sell. The items sold are to help with money needed to pay utility bills etc.
I'd like to see new management in here before I will give her again.
