our marriage was in ruins, our teenager hated both me and my wife. when i first contacted sound mind i was skeptical because first i thought it would be too christian and not practical.second i saw a review that was not good. after going and working hard at our marriage using the principals that God had for our marriage (as DR. I FIND SOUNDMIND MINISTRIES VERY HELPFUL, AND THEY DO HELP(&HAVE HELPED) PAY MANY BILLS, WHEN THEY HAVE THE FUNDS AVAILABLE THEY DO FIND JOBS FOR PEOPLE IN NEED,(OR SET YOU UP WITH JOB INTERVIEWS, WHICH DOESNT MEAN THEY CAN MAKE THAT PERSON HIRE YOU) THESE NASTY PEOPLE SEEM TO THINK HOUNDING BUSY PEOPLE MEANS THEY LIE ABOUT HELPING YOU, WHICH I KNOW VERY WELL IS NOT TRUE, IF YOU NEED ANY HELP SOUNDMIND MINISTRIES WILL ALWAYS ALWAYS DO THEIR BEST TO THE FULLEST EXTENT. STAY AWAY!!! SCAM ARTISTS! These people make promises to needy families & don't follow through. After our family of 5 & another on the way, moved from a hotel (due to eviction) to a 2 bedroom shack. We went to Mr. Mitchel. He promised my husband a job & after weeks & weeks of chasing Mr. Mitchell down we gave up. He always promised the next day. My husband quit his job because he promised something better. After I confronted him & called him a liar, he got very hostile (not too sound mind, huh?). Oh & that was in 2009, what did we get in the mail today & Collections notice!!!! Almost 2 years later & he didn't even do what he said!!! Now after he ruined our lives, he has the nerve to try & collect on it. Please Please protect yourself & stay away from this man. more

Sound Mind Ministries is a wonderful organization. at 61 i thought my life had little meaning left, Dr. M, thru patience and Scripture have shown me different the lady Suzanne Vale who wrote those nasty things is a mentally unbalanced slumlord, sorry if it sounds harsh but people should not go around making these kinds of allagations and be left unchecked. and some other concerned people are putting together the proof of what suzanne and Cameron Vale are like, emails, threatening messages to tenants who only want them to live up to there obligations are the norm for these two look for the youtube video this week . you'll see what we mean. more

My wife and i had gone to 3 other counselors in our 20 years of marriage it seemed there was no help for us. i thought we just were not meant for each other. we tried one last time by going to sound mind ministries, it changed our lives! or as Dr. Mitchell says, God changed our lives. both me and my wife now know we will be together forever. we look at each other with love and respect now and cant wait to be with each other everyday. Dr. Mitchell at sound mind ministries has helped me in all aspects of my life, from my marriage, to my past relationships and indiscretions. He has helped me through a course of events, losing my mother to breast cancer unexpectedly, that were some of the hardest things I have gone through in my life. I come out of each appt with a renewed view of myself, God and the Bible. He has helped me to restore my Faith in God as well. He will not brow beat you or shove the Bible down your throat. He is very insightful and has met his calling as a counselor. As Far as him telling his wife things I know that to be FALSE for a fact. Him and his wife Kelly are amazing people and have helped our family through some very large struggles. I was having some promblems in my relationship and was not sure how to deal and move past it with all the baggage one carries from there old relation shipsi n to thier new relation ships ,However having the opertunity to work with Sound Mind Minstries help me move on and let go of all that ,I have now a healthy marrige.I am very thank full to have had a Counslor a friend and support from Sound Mind Minstries .
