From what used to be an old italian butcher/specialty store has emerged a pizzeria. An amazing pizzeria.
The crust is thin, crisp, and flavored with the essence of the wood used in the 900 degree imported italian oven. The cheese is made in-house fresh each week and is the milky, perfectly salted embodiment of what all mozzarella should ever hope to be. Well seasoned with herbs and spices chunks of fresh tomato and bits of basil the sauce lends itself perfectly to the pizza. The atmosphere is one of casual, with an open vibe to both new and old personalities. The cuisine here is without a doubt the best you can find in long beach.
As an added bonus the owner Anthony is extremely friendly, likeable and at the ready. This place is a must see. I urge all locals to try it before the times or zagat does a review!
