Amazing food and Sophia always remembers my group. 11/25/2011

Sophia remembers me when I come in, even if I have been away for a few weeks. The food is amazing. My favorite dishes are the Chicken Frances and Stuffed Shells w/Chicken topped with Spinach and Sun Dried Tomatoes. I have brought many friends to this place over the years and have never been disappointed. I am a fat man and I know where to eat!!! This place has the most amazing Alfredo sauce I have ever tasted. Go, Eat, Enjoy. more

BEST ITALIAN FOOD IN THE AREA 8/19/2010

I?ve traveled around the world for business and eventually settled down in the Lawrenceville / Dacula area. I was searching for a place to catch a quick meal and stumbled across Sophia?s. This friendly family business with the authentic Italian dishes has made this place my favorite restaurant to eat. I would encourage anyone in the area to give Sophia?s a try. Stop by and say hi to Sophia and try the Chicken Marsala is to die for??did I mention that the Garlic Bread and Salad are free!!!! more

The Old Owners Are Back 8/14/2009

I just moved here from the West Coast and this was the first place my Boyfriend took me for Date Night. He loved the place when we the old owners ran the place and now they are back!!! The food was great and so was the service. I was very happy with the price as well. Sophia came around and asked us how are food was and if there was anything else she could bring us. We are going back again tonight!! Pros: Great food, Excellent Service, Price is right more

Not a true Italian cuisine 1/12/2008

Went to dinner tonight at Sophias and I will never go back. The veal was like chewing rubber along with my daughters shrimp. No garlic on any food we ordered.Way too much meat sauce on the spaghetti, which was bland to say the least.Surely, this is not a true Italian restaurant. If you are going to serve Italian food, learn how to cook it. Pros: Seated promptly. Cons: Not true Italian food. more

Superb tsatziki 9/11/2007

A good all-rounder for Greek and Italian food, prompt, polite service, very accommodating to our 2-yr-old. Pros: Huge portions with mountains of feta, no need for appetizers Cons: Thermostat set too low- was freezing! more

Not good 12/23/2006

I wanted to like this place. It's close to where we just moved to and we were eager for a nice restaurant near by. I guess we have to keep looking. Pros: Parking was plentiful... maybe cause so few people like this place Cons: Food was bland or rubbery. more

The best Greek Salad Ever!! 10/31/2006

I live close to Valentino's and order from there all the time. They always have the food hot and ready in 20 minutes. They always give extra bread which my husband loves. I love the greek salad and the manicotti. Love Valentino's! Nice and quiet hidden restaurant! Pros: Great food, nice people more

Great casual Italian! 10/11/2006

Prompt service, great food on the days we visited. Actually have scheduled a group meeting with them. Price is also good. The special I had-- portobello ravioli--was excellent. We had nothing go wrong. more

Best Italian food I have ever had!!!!! 4/18/2006

I think that Sophia's Valentino serves excellent food at affordable prices. The restaurant is very family oriented in nature, and I would recommend it everyone: best Italian food I have ever tasted. A+ in every aspect. Pros: Inexpensive, Great Food, Good Service more

Excellent! 4/18/2006

Sophia's Valentino is my ""home away from home."" Great Italian and Greek food, reasonable prices and very friendly staff. They have such a huge variety of dishes and you can definitelyl tell the sauces and pastas are homemade. Reminds me of my mother's cooking back in Sicily Italy. Delicioso Sophia's!! Pros: Delicious Food, Friendly Service, Cozy Atmosphere more

Stay away! 2/26/2006

Slow srvc(slow, AND they forgot to give us the salads). Manicotti, rubbery; ""Tour of Italy"" (lasagna/chicken parm/manicotti) day-old and warmed up. Marinara sauce watery, tasteless. Had to wait eternity to get the bill - when other parties around us coming in after us were already given their check and left. Asked for to-go box & was given a little thing barely large enough for a piece of bread. Garlic bread was horrible, nothing more than some bagette sliced and buttered, little garlic....cold. When we went to pay 2 employees were chatting, ignoring us. Finally one of them was called by a patron huffed off, clearly frustrated that she had to work! Remaining employee rang us up, asked how the meal was. When told it was not very good she asked whether it was the service or the food - my husband told her both and she didn't say a word. Cons: Bad Service, Bad Food more
