just the basics 7/1/2007

Sonny's is average. I had a good meal there, but didn't feel it was anything special. However, my wife really enjoyed the ribs. Althought nothing super special, it is good solid BBQ, so I would go back. Pros: good value, good ribs Cons: sliced beef was average more

Great place for bbq 6/19/2007

Even though I prefer the taste and price of Podnuh's, this place is a close second. The food is always hot and has a unique flavor despite the fact that it's a chain. Main drawback is that it's a hike for most people in Baton Rouge. more
