Located in the end of a small shopping center, I've been to Sonny's twice. Once for their dine-in service, and once for their surprising drive-thru service. I'll speak about the dine-in service first.\r

The dine-in experience was pretty good. The service was average but our waitress did her job well. After being served our drinks, my girlfriend and I could only chuckle at the glass barrels that they give us to drink out of. Now, I'm a big guy, so I'm in NO WAY complaining. I just thought it was quite humorous to be drinking out of something so big. When I went, there was an all-you-can-eat ribs special. For a big guy, that special was just glistening in the light. Needless to say, that's what I ordered. The ribs came out three at a time, which was kinda rediculous in my opinion, but there were 5 different barbecue sauces to choose from, which I loved. The barbecue sauce caddy was similar to iHop's syrup caddy and allowed for experimentation with mixing and other sauce fun. However, the ribs were... basic. That's not to say that they weren't good, but they didn't have the slow-cooked, meat-fall-off-the-bones ribs that you get at some of the more local places.\r

Though I had a good indoor experience, I think that Sonny's shined in their drive through. Though the food was the same, this service was rediculously fast and one of the best values I have seen for barbecue. For about twenty dollars, there was this huge meal for two: ribs for two, two sides for two (four sides in total), and bread (garlic bread or cornbread) for two. All of the food came out very hot and fresh and we didn't even wait five minutes. I'm still wondering how they delivered food that hot so fast.\r

Anyways, I would recommend Sonny's for anybody needing their ""fix"" of barbecue. It may not be the best, award-winning barbecue in Florida, but food is good, service is decent, and their drive through is great.
Pros: Value, Drive-Thru
