Sonic Drive-In

I love Sonics Drive in. What an Easy way to just SIT and relax in your OWN area and no weird people smoking near your children and your kids SITIING in one spot!! My wife loves this idea and SO do I. They have their "waters/waitresses" wearing skates to roll on over and give you your order. I guess it's a faster way to get to you. One thing i do not like. If they mess up on your order they take back the messed up order and THROW it away RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. My wife was so amazed at this place! Given the fact that we have homeless men , women , and families up on the corner not even 40 feet from their place. They could have given it to them, wether or not it was worth eating or drinking. ( I'm sure the homeless wouldn't mind) more

I'm not sure if it's me or not but the Sonic's here in Bradenton Florida off of US 41/ 14th street seems to cook in A LOT of grease. I decided to get my normal "Brown Bag Special" which give you either a plain burger with mustard or one with cheese and ketchup. A weird combination but i order it. Well i go to bite down in this delicious burger and when i reached my hand inside it's foil wrapper i felt water.. but it's in a foil wrapper so i thought it might have been condensation. IT WASN"T.. I pulled it all the way out and to disgust me to my fullest was my bread SOAKED with grease. I then took a napkin and blotted it generously only to find that the bread has soaked up sooo much that it had now became mushy. Long story short, I do like ordering from there anymore unless it's for their Grape slushy. ( now those are something worth buying ) more
