We have one child with dyslexia. Our other child has learning issues - not sure what the actual problem is, no testing can pin point what's going on. All we knew was that she was reading at about a kindergarden level at the end of 1st grade (2006). She qualified for an IEP at school. The schools goal was to get her reading at a first grade level by 2008 - 2 years below her grade level. Well she's in 3rd grade and with 22 months at Sonday she's reading at a 4th grade level, her spelling is at 3rd grade 5th month level. Our son with the dyslexia has been going for about 10 months he made the B honor role the last semester last year. So far this years grades, an A- in Language Arts, B+ in Government, A in Economics and a C in Physics. Classes he would not be passing because of all the reading he needed to do and wouldn't do because he didn't have the de coding skills. \r
