This has been my place to go for great eyebrows for the last 4 years. They are quick, pretty painless, cheap, and way better than waxing. more

Went here because I used to live in the neighborhood a few years back, and my daughter needed her bushy eyebrows done for her pageant, They are very friendly and they get the job done quick. My daughter loved the work they did on her unibrow. LOL!! more

It's my first time getting my eyebrows threaded. Actually, it's my first time getting my eyebrows professionally groomed, period.\r And wow! What an experience! Eyebrows and upper lip for only $10 plus tip. Wow! Way better than all the other threading places at the malls advertising JUST eyebrows for like $15. No way!\r It's slightly painful...but not more than I expected. And it's done super fast.\r Now my eyebrows actually look even and...I can't stop checking them out in the mirror...no more awkward, home groomed brows!\r more

I come here to get my eyebrows done when I'm in the area. They're quick, efficient, and will do what you want (clean up, arch, etc.). I've never seen it that full and I usually go on weekends. $6 for eyebrows. more

I used to vacillate between Sona Chaandi and Ziba, until Ziba started charging 70% more than Sona Chaandi for the same service. I've been coming to Sona Chaandi since 2001.\r The ladies are super nice. Since I only come here a few times a year when I visit from the East Coast I don't have a preference in terms of beauticians.\r The gals work pretty quickly and have never made my brows too thin (granted, I always say ""just a cleanup, not too thin""). I'm never disappointed with the shape of my brows.\r My skin did get cut once below the brow. The beautician was apologetic. it was a few days before my wedding, but I was already too stressed out to care about a microscopic scab.\r all in all, the ladies know what they are doing, it is mid priced compared to other threading salons, and you'll be in and out fast. more

Wow. You think you know... but you have no idea.\r \r This place is awesome! I never even knew that a store like this existed!\r \r Upon walking in, it was like being kicked in the neck with the most explosive color palette you could ever imagine (and yes, I mean that in the good way). There are ruby reds, majestic mauves, Bollywood blues and more jewel and bead work than the mind can even comprehend. There are hats, slippers, sari, poofy pants (no, that is not what they are actually called, but they are poofy!) and the bestest part of all is that they will tailor them on site!\r \r For our Yelp Bollywood party I was originally going to go with this dark purplish-burgundy number because I loved the top, but once I tried the pants on, ooof, I looked like a fatty mo patty. Not flattering at all. They had already altered it and when I finally pulled the plug on it, they didn't get upset at all.\r \r I ended up going with this gorgeous burgundy number that was surprisingly flattering on the frame. Those saris really do cover all the right areas to bring out the ""good"" flesh.\r \r At the end of the shopping adventure, I spent about $120 for a dynamite costume that included the top, the sari, the bindi and gorgeous bracelets that will be definitely making return visits at parties moving forward. Thanks Sona, you rock!\r more

I started going to Sona Chaandi years ago for eyebrow threading during my undergrad days, and I try to visit for a cleanup whenever I'm in the neighborhood.\r \r The payment process isn't confusing at all, and I haven't waited more than 10 minutes to be seated at a station. I've never had any issues with rude staff, bleeding or injury of any kind to my brow area. Though the staff may be quiet and not overly friendly, I've never felt that they were hostile in any way. But honestly, I believe it might just be a language barrier. It's tough to be chatty if English isn't your first language, so I'm not offended if I don't feel excessively pampered here. I come here for one reason only, and that's to have my brows cleaned up and artfully shaped-- not to be coddled.\r \r I've probably had my eyebrows done by every staff member, and each of them take their time and are meticulous when working on them. I always leave feeling happy with my brand new brows. One thing I feel is missing is just some aloe vera to soothe the area.\r \r I haven't bought any fabric or jewelry from the store, but I've browsed through it occasionally. They've even had celebrity customers such as Gwen Stefani and Freida Pinto. If I ever need beautiful and colorful fabric, I'll definitely visit them. If it's good enough for an A lister, then it's good enough for me!\r \r Don't forget to check in here for a $5 eyebrow threading! more

Seriously, Thank God for Sona Chaandi!!! Honestly they helped me when I was in a pinch! The staff (family) were so helpful and personable. You treat people how you would like to be treated and they really reciprocated! Not only were they willing to work with my budget but they were open on a Monday! They have tons of saree's to choose from as well as other clothes priced from $50.00-$10k. Another great thing about this establishment is that they have a full service beauty salon. I would recommend this place to anyone! \r more

I L-O-V-E LOVE having clean, nicely shaped eyebrows! And Sona Chaandi gave me just that! I've actually heard of this place for a few years now from my friends, but never really got the chance to go because I'm too lazy to drive to Cerritos, haha.\r \r I actually, just got my eyebrows threaded at another place in Brea a week ago, so my plan was to just go with my girlfriend to get hers done. But the moment I walked in, I decided to get mine done too. The price is $6 +tip, so it's pretty cheap, and they give you an award card, if you get 10 stamps, you can come back on your 11th visit and get your eyebrows threaded for free. You pay before hand, and make sure to ask for chair number 1, because the lady that does it on that chair is amazing! She really takes her time with your eyebrows, and does such an amazing job! I was realllly satisfied with my results!\r \r Now that I've gotten the chance to experience this place, I don't think I will ever go anywhere else but here! So, I will be coming back here again in 2 weeks! more

I've tried to go cheap with the threading places (like I-Salon), but their work is usually hit or miss, and most of the time it's a miss. I don't mind paying extra for high quality, and it's rare that I get subpar service here. Everyone is nice here and they do an awesome job of shaping my brows and taking out my Frida Kahlo-esque upper lip hair. There's even a bonus card program too. more
