Editorial review from Citysearch 10/7/2013

I got married in 2010. They were very rude and unprofessional. I would never recommend them. I am still bothered today about how my husband and I were treated. We stayed the night and when we brought our luggage in they were sitting around in the grand room talking and yelled out to my husband,""have fun!"". It felt like they were running a brothel.\r The cake I asked for was horrible. The taste and the look. Nothing what I wanted. I could have done better.\r My mom knew I was starving so she asked them to bring food to my room and they brought 2 tiny sandwiches. \r The morning breakfast basket was terrible. Dry and scarce. \r My car was decorated and streamers where everywhere and they asked us to pick it up. So there I was as a newlywed with my husband in my dress picking up garage in the parking lot while they watched. It was terrible.\r We paid a lot for what we didn't get. The service was terrible, the food was mediocre, the decor was dated. I had fun, but will never go back there.\r more

Military girl wants deposit back 11/10/2011

This review could go from bad to worse. Here is my story. My daughter is in the AirForce, She got engaged when she graduated from Basic Training. July (th, 2011. When we got home from Texas I went right over and loved the reception center. I gave them The $700.00 down payment and signed the contract that said that the money is non-refundable. We booked the place for Oct 29th 2011. Ten days later my daughter got her orders to go to Korea. Who'd thought she would go out of the country? Her fiance is in the Army, well they couldn't find him a job in Korea, so he can';t go. Do you get married to be together or not. Then she got orders to go to England after Korea. We decided to call off the wedding. The owner of the center told us that no one had even requested the center the 10 days we had it reserved. We canceled immediately hoping that they would be decent enough to give us back our $$$$. My daughter even took her orders over hoping that they would be kind enough to give our $$$$ back. They had 3 months to book the place, and they didn't. They did say that they would hold on to the money for a year and let her get married then.????? Who knows what will happen in a year!!! They did absolutely nothing for that $$$$$ and still won't give it back. I guess we will see what happens now. They said they have to ask a lawyer about it. Let's be patriotic and help us out. Is this fair??? maybe I am wrong. But I don't think so, everybody I have asked thinks they should give us our money. more

What a great place 8/25/2008

We stayed there for out 13 year anniversary and rented sleepy hollow. We really enjoyed ourselves and had a great time. They are really small just 7 rooms but we like the fact that is was small and quiet. They have a magnificant yard and a great view. The room was really clean and also located close to many restaurants. The business is family owned and I really enjoyed visiting with them. Pros: was really small and quiet Cons: there was road construction more

O what a night!!! 8/3/2008

We went to Somewhere Inn Time for a get away from our children. I really liked that it was very small and not really busy they only have 7 rooms. The rooms were clean and well taken care of and their gardens are so wonderful. We had a really nice and quiet time. We were really abel to get reconnected. I would highly recommend this place. The owner is a really great guy. He even sent us home with vegetables form his garden.\r \r Great!!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: there are some great restaurants near by Cons: there was construction on the road and it was hard to get in more

Somewhere Inn Time 7/20/2008

We needed a place that was close to home in but far enough away from kids to get a break.. We chose somewhere inn time.. It is a beautiful facitlity and the people are so kind. It was also during a weekday , so we were given a discount on our room. We chose the Dawning of Time.. The room was so wonderful to excape all the ratrace outside. The ceiling was painted in clouds and you could see the mountains from the windows also the temple.. Spectacular!! I liked the fact that breakfast was served to our room in the morning. We ate in our PJS.. That doesn't happen very often. We loved our stay and the king size bed was wonderful. well worth trying out. We will visit again soon i hope. Pros: right on state street easy to find, restaurants close by Cons: had to pick up key by 6:00 more

It was wonderful 5/16/2008

We stayed at the Inn for a romantic get a way. We stayed in the Sleepy Hollow Suite it was great. They are all very friendly and wiling to make your stay great. THey did alot of extra's and were great. The room was spectacular. We had a sweet bed and a huge jetted tub. I would highly reccomend this to anyone who would like a nice place to stay. I also haave to comment on their gardens they are to die for. Pros: great gardens and rooms Cons: we could not stay longer more

Disappointing Every Time 3/15/2008

My wife and I wanted to stay in a quiet bed and breakfast for our first anniversary, unfortunately since we are busy people apt to forgetfulness, we didn't book a place until a day or two before. Unfortunately Somewhere Inn Time was the only place with a vacant room we could afford ($100). The room was small, the towels were moldy, and the advertised ""fireplace"" was a fake and when turned on blew air and shined lights onto plastic strips to give the impression of flames (why bother installing a fake fireplace?) Even so, I would have been happy using the jetted tube, sleeping in a so-so bed, and having a disappointing view, that is if the breakfast was any good. Yet as you can already guess the breakfast was the worst part. Our ""breakfast"" basket consisted of 1 Costco muffin, 1 slice of industrial banana bread, 1 mushy red-delicious apple, 1 out of season orange, 2 yogurts, AND TWO EXPIRED ORANGE JUICES!!!!! This place is NOT a bed and breakfast, its a bed and Quickie Mart, except you don't get to chose your gas station food.\r \r Also, they do not have internet, they only have VHS players, and the place is tacky. My recommendation is don't go, it's not worth it. You will have an exactly equal stay at a budget motel, or you could pay the same price and get a night in a decent hotel. Pros: Conveniently located between a car dealership and a Wal-Mart Cons: Just about everything more

Overpriced for what you get 10/20/2005

We were looking for a place close to home for a quick romantic getaway. This was very close to home, but we ended up paying too much for what we got. The jetted tub worked for about 10-15 minutes, then shut itself off and we couldn't turn it on again until an hour or two later. So much for the nice, long, relaxing soak. There was no ice maker. There was a bucket of ice in the refrigerator in the hallway. It was mostly melted and nobody was around to ask for more ice. We won't stay here again. Pros: For us, close to home, Themed rooms Cons: Overpriced, Understaffed, Not well-maintained more

We really enjoyed it. 6/17/2005

We went there for our honeymoon and greatly enjoyed Somewhere Inn Time. The atomsphere was quiet and it felt really homey. The one down side is it does feel like you are actually staying at someone elses house so you feel a bit intrusive as you roam about. However, it was clean, quiet, and there wasn't the hustle and bustle of a normal hotel more

Poor service! Had no reason to be rude! 9/4/2002

Very poor service! We came a half an hour after check-in and nobody was there. We tried both doors, the doorbell for about 10 min and finally left. When we called (mostly to make sure someone was going to be there when we came back) We were yelled at (seriously!) and accused of lying about having been there. They hung up on us (we werent rude, just mildly upset) and charged us for a room we never stayed at. We were NOT made aware of the cancellation policy (we wouldnt have stayed anyway.) We drove two hours that day to stay in the Logan Anniversary Inn (the only one in Utah with a room left) simply to avoid Somewhere Inn Time. -Ryan Cons: Service, Courtesy, Helpfulness more
