Our first experience at Solstice was this summer, where we ate on the patio. Our servers NEVER rushed us through our meals or the coffee that followed. In fact, when we left, we realized they had stayed open 40 minutes extra for us. The staff was attentive, but not crowding us. We made second reservations for a family gathering meal/birthday on-the-spot. We would definitely recommend dinner, lunch, snacks or just a drink at Solstice! We love it, but keep it ""our secret""... we would be crushed if popularity destroyed the great service and food seved there! We had drinks(2 each), appetizer to share, entrees (2), and dessert (2) --- TRY THE MANGO CHEESECAKE!!!--- all for around $55-$60 total. Pros: great service, neighborhood feel, good wine selection Cons: no parking more

GREAT LOCAL SPOT IN MISSION HILL 11/13/2002

One of those great local places that few people seem to know about, for all that it's right on the T (E line at brigham circle). I would definitely recommend the burgers (100% angus beef) and the pastas are delicious. With only a beer/wine list they make up for that by offering a great selection of wines and a classic selection of beers on tap and by the bottle. The lunch time crowd is mainly hospital workers and features amazing sandwiches and great entrees. The dinner crowd is mixed locals, students and urbanites out on the town and features some amazing food which you'd never expect in the Mission Hill area! During the summer, the patio out back is the place to be in Mission Hill. Pros: great wine list, great ambiance, right on the T Cons: difficult parking, busy at lunch more
