SLOW and dishonest... REPUTABLE BUSINESS my a** 10/15/2011

Took my 2yr old 50"" tv in to them last August it is now October 2011. They do not return my calls. When I do call and IF they answer they put me on hold then hang up. So I went to the shop and they tried to give me a different 42"" TV saying it was my TV. Now My TV did not shrink an I demanded MY TV. The TV I brought to them. They got real silent and ignored me. I am turning this theft over to my attorney. I also called around to other shops and several warned me ""NOT RECOMMENDED"" about this place. more

VERY BAD SERVICE 3/16/2011

Where to start, I know nothing about TV repair. but their lousy customer service and greedy attitude should to been a clue. They had my TV for almost a whole month. Finally I got disgusted and went to pick it up. Their was another gut doing he same thing when I arrived. I reluctantly paid their outrageous fee and got nothing but a headache and excuses for my money. I took the TV over to another dealer and He had it repaired in four days.. EVERYONE you can do better than this place. Shop around. more

Great service, Had 2 tv's fixed, ontime 10/28/2009

This is the second time I had a tv fixed withing the past year. Both tv's were fixed within a week and were at the estimated cost. One of the tv's they even fixed another minor problem with no additional charge. Pros: Repaired tv's at estimated cost and quickly more

Terrible Customer Service 10/2/2009

They had my t.v. for over a month and ended up only temporarily fixing it. The customer service is extremely rude. They cannot fix simple t.v. problems, like an on/off switch, and claim that they've never encountered these problems before. It is hard to believe that in all the years they've been in business, power buttons are not their expertise. They also don't support their warranty policy. The receipt says that they have a 90day warranty. This is not true unless you have them try to fix it again - which if they couldn't fix it in the first place, why would you go back? They are a complete waste of time. Cons: Everything more

Phenominal Customer Service!!! 10/28/2008

Extraordinary - Unbelieveable service!!! Not only was my inquiry call returned promptly, the service fee quoted more reasonable than most others, but it was suggested I try something on my own, prior to the service person coming out. I tried the suggestion -- it worked -- and cost me $0. In this day and age of getting as much $$ from the consumer as possible -- this shocked me and for that reason I would highly recommend Solidstate TV for their shear honest, customer-minded service!!! They definitely rank #1 in my book! THANK YOU!!! Pros: Customer comes 1st!!! Cons: NONE. more

Best TV repair 9/13/2007

Thought our 11 yr old projection tv was gone for good. These people could not have been more accommodating, allowing for our special needs and work schedules. The service tech was prompt and knowledgable. He fixed our tv on site and while it was quite a process, we are more than pleased. Price was fair and we are happy that we don't have to replace our equipment. Pros: Everything more

Great customer service 2/13/2007

The person on the phone was very friendly. They came out when they said they would and my television was fixed on time and for the price they quoted. The service technician that came to the house was very informative and knowledgeable about my tv. I would highly recommend this company and have to many of my friends. Pros: thumbs up more

This is a good place to get a used television at a decent price.the place is kinda small and they are pretty good with repairs on some televisions.A little high for fixin them more
