I've been to the Sole numerous times and its never disappointed me. The seafood is always delicious and the seasonal dishes are always a treat. Bring the family for dinner or bring a date for a romantic evening for two, The Sole is perfect for both. more

I guess it is the BEST seafood in the area 3/24/2006

The Sole Proprietor offers all kinds of fish and seafood dishes in the heart of central Massachusetts. Their after work cocktail hour is very popular with working professionals in that area and the bar is usually quite packed during the week. When I ordered here, I wasn't wowed by the dish. I felt they were a bit pricey for what you get. more

As good as Legal 9/25/2005

Why drive all the way to Boston to get good seafood? Its right here on highland st. While it may be a bit pricey, the kettle meals are cheap and delicious... eat em right at the bar. With a good beer and the game on, you can't beat that. My only complaint is that the bar area can get too crowded and noisy. If you want a nice dinner you're better off eating in the back. more

Best seafood in the area 8/21/2005

The Sole, one of the best seafood restaurants i have ever eaten at, is also ranked one of worcester's best. The food is great, the sushi is great, and you can even order a steak there! It caters to a more formal crowd, so dont go in there in shorts and teeshirt, its more of a profesisonal environment. But the prices are not terrible, in the 15-20$ range per meal, and the food is great. Highly recommended more

Best seafood in Worcester. 8/21/2005

This is the best place to get seafood in Worcester. The Sole Proprietor is upscale, but don't feel afraid to show up in jeans. They have the standard seafood entrees, but they also have some very inventive variations. If you like sushi, you'll love theirs - try the Tuna Firecracker. Look for some good drinks and nice beer selection, too. more

The best seafood around! 8/19/2005

The Sole Proprietor is the best seafood restaurant in Worcester. The menu includes many unique and tasty entrées. There is a full bar and a great bar menu of "Kettle" meals for those that wish to eat a little something light. The atmosphere is very contemporary and classy. It's a busy place, so there is often a wait. Reservations would definitely be a good idea. more
