I'd say there were absolutely no glitches with Heritage Solar, Inc! The work was performed as promised. The guy I had originally dealt with was great. He had gone on vacation at the time of installation so I had someone else to supervise. The transition might not have been has seamless as it could have been, but I'm not willing to blame on that in particular. Overall, I had a very good experience with Heritage Solar, Inc! I had gotten two quotes from other solar companies. There was not even a price comparison, and they were all pretty equal. We met with a very large company, which had paperwork to go through, and we were afraid the small company wasn't going to be in business for a long time. Heritage Solar, Inc. was in between. From start to finish, the team at Heritage answered every question and solved every issue. Note that I said team, not company, not contractors, not bunch of guys. The leadership starts with Dennis, who personally stepped up to resolve some issues. It carries to the sales team that gave me the most cost effective (not the most expensive) option based on my roof size and needs. When detailed technical questions came up, the sales rep did not make up answers, but said I will get that answer for you., and then the team delivered. Finally, when the instillation team arrived, they were: on time, on cost, clean, and courteous. Finally, after instillation, they followed up to make sure things were OK. One day my data link went down do to PC problem in my office, and Heritage called up because they were showing the system was off the grid. Compared to the other places we got bids from, Heritage Solar were very professional. They gave me the info I needed, and they didn't try to pressure me into anything. When they came for the installation, they handled everything, went in to do the work, and it works great. I really love having solar. more

Quoted start of installation in aprox 30 to 45 days. Completed 3 1/2 day installation in a little over 30 days from contract signing. Accomodated my request to move converter box from original location with no problems. The crew that did my installation also did a neighbors installation about a month later in a day and a half. Theirs was the same kws but in less areas of roof. more

I'm very happy with Heritage Solar's service. It was a minor problem and they took care of it right away. It worked a whole lot better by the end. They even told me about a recall I didn't know about at the time. more

It was a very good experience with Heritage Solar. They came and did everything they needed to do. We were one of the first to file for solar under the new regulations in California. They had to work hard to figure out all the paperwork and tax credits for us. We got it in a timely manor and they serviced the project really well. Whenever there was problem they made sure to come and fix it. Overall the savings for me was tremendous. It was a large cost but my ongoing expenses are very small now. more

We had Heritage Solar put in two inverters so that I could actually update my system later. They put in ones that were a little bigger than what we needed at the time to accommodate the upgrade, and it didn't cost anything more to do that for the panels I already had. Some of the things I wanted were outside of the typical package, and they worked with me to do it. more

Dennis himself from Heritage Solar, Inc. was very personable and was inclined to explain as much as possible. He checked the place personally and followed up on the paperwork with the city in an expedient and professional manner, leaving me very little to do. Heritage Solar, Inc. got things installed in the time frame that they said. The guys that installed were quick to take care of any issues. The nice thing about Heritage Solar, Inc. is that it's not a huge company. You are dealing with the people who are responsible for the bottom line fairly directly. You're not going to get the same vague comments promised by salespeople. Everyone at Heritage Solar was totally professional the whole time, from the bid to the permits to the installation. There were no problems. I am very happy. They even gave me their timetable. After the installation I had a minor repair, an inverter fuse blew, and they came out almost immediately to clear it up. They put up 27 solar panels on my roof. I have recommended them already; go for it and use them. They were the best. more

Heritage Solar did what they promised with no kinks. Hans was very good to us; he did everything. We didn't have to deal with anything. That is what I expected, and that is what I got. I don't have a big system, but since installing it in February, I have only paid $128 in electricity bills. I used to be on a flat rate of $471 a month. more

I received 3 bids for my project. Heritage Solar wasn't necessarily the cheapest, however, I trusted them more than the other contractors who gave bids. They put in a 5 kilowatt system, which is 27 solar panels. Hans, my sales account manager, was extremely honest. I also met the owner, Dennis, and I was very impressed with him and his knowledge of the industry. He is definitely a good person, and I trust him. The installers were not only on time, but were early every day. They cleaned up after themselves every day. They were professional, courteous, and obviously well experienced. I would highly recommend them for sure. more
