I have been to many a salon.. Oscar Blandi (NYC), Frederic Fekkai (NYC), Vidal Sassoon.. and yet I have never been as happy with anyone until I first trusted Le Lu with my locks two years ago.. Her talent, knowledge and perfectionism, paired with her listening ability, has made me a devoted client who will follow her wherever she goes. I can honestly say that Le Lu is the first stylist that has really taken my opinion into consideration and therefore has been able to create the EXACT color that I want. Le Lu has been the key ingredient in transforming my hair from dry & brittle to long and healthy. I absolutely love my hair for the first time and I only have Le Lu to thank for that. SHE IS THE BEST!!! more

TODAY I WENT TO SEE JACLYN AND I HAD MY HAIR COLORED SHE DID THE BEST JOB EVER I HAVE BEEN GETTING SO MANY COMMENTS ON MY HAIR AND I BEEN TELLING EVERYONE WHO DID IT JACLYN!!! my stylist jaclyn was great!!! she was fun to talk to and a really nice person...s0o0 i knew that she was gonna make me happy. I had my hair cut and colored and i have had many bad experinces with my hair styles i'm not really good at doing my own hair and she made it easy for me to do my own hair. I am already booked to get ma hair done again thats how much i loved it!!! Cons: great more

I used to go to the most fancy hair salons in Beijing and Shanghai and since I moved to California I stopped going to hair salons because I really can't trust a random one to handle my long straight Asian hair. I happened to find this place on citysearch two days ago and went in for a try. It is the best experience I've had. Le Lu is very friendly and she definitely knows what she is doing. I think she has very elegant taste too. It's very reassuring to let her handle my hair. I did walk out of the salon, exactly as the other users here said, feeling very good about myself. Also everyone else in the salon looks neat too. I highly recommend this place to everyone. more

Like some of the people who posted before me, I was depressed when I lost a hairdresser after he decided to close his business. After some recommendations from people, I stumbled upon this website and decided to try out the salon because of the great reviews. Well, I just came back from Mission 6 Salon, and I couldn't be any happier than I am right now with the cut Le-Lu gave me. I brought in pictures of the style I wanted, and we went over each one carefully. She explained to me that the haircut length was a little too short for my face shape, and by adding a couple of inches to the style I would look much better. Let me just say: she was right! I couldn't have dreamed up a better haircut if I tried. I've gotten so many compliments today, and that let's me know that this might be the best 60 bucks I've ever spent. On top of her haircutting abilities she is sweet, talkative, and REALLY funny. On top of all of this, she did not even pressure me to buy any of the products that the salon had on display. You have to try this salon, you will not be sorry. Pros: reasonable rates, beautiful and upscale decor, tons of parking, no sales pressure! Cons: I couldn't find anything wrong with the place more

I recently moved to the Bay Area from Chicago, and I've been trying to find a salon that delivers fantastic color and cuts at a reasonable price. Le Lu catered my cut and color to my face shape, hair type, lifestyle and personality. She was extremely thoughtful in her approach, listened carefully to what I wanted and gave me excellent recommendations. She is a true professional and the result was the best color and cut that I've ever had! more

I've searched a while for the perfect salon and the perfect cut, and I finally found it at Mission 6! Dre listens and understands and then performs her magic! I have fine curly hair that will friz if too short, but hangs heavy if too long. The cut I got was perfect -- somehow I walked out of there looking very stylish. I'm so glad I found Mission 6 on City search. My hair was in a desperate makeover mode. Bless Dre. She took the time to listen and ask questions to find out what I like and hated about my previous cuts. Despite having her next appointment waiting, she didn't rushed through my cut. I also brought a picture from a magazine and she cut it the exact style as on the model; flat ironed hair with framing layers and blunt heavy bangs. The result was magnificent. I had been with my trusted stylist for 10 years before moving and of course had some apprehension about having to find a new salon and stylist. I found Mission 6 Salon to have a warm, comfortable atmosphere with Mission-style decor. The stylist that work and own the salon parallel the atmosphere and are non-pretentious yet distinctive. Andrea was my stylist and she was wonderful. She not only took the time to listen and learn about your likes and dislikes, but also took meticulous care in her color and haircut. The results were great! The color was right-on and the cut was wonderful. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a high caliber salon. more

Not being the type to enjoy the sometimes pretentious atmosphere of some high-end salons on the Peninsula, I was so very impressed and surprised by my experience at Mission 6! The staff are friendly and clearly masters of their craft. Michelle is an amazing stylist and made sure I was comfortable with the cut every step of the way. I highly recommend this salon! more

ission 6 is a great salon. It is such a comfortable environment. My slyest Dre is amazing. She offers great advice on how to alter my styles, and knows how to work with curly hair!! That is hard to find! I would recommend anyone with curly hair to see Miss Dre. I cant wait to see her again, so she can apply some of her new technique on me! more

I found the best in California. Shoji is already known as one of the bests in the Bay area, but I think he is the best in California. I lived in LA before and paid $300 for a haircut. Today, I found Shoji and he was much better than my famous celeb stylist in LA. you better see him before he becomes real celeb. more

I got a haircut and colour from Le Lu this Saturday. I love it. I had henna in my hair, which made it more complicated, but the colour turned out great. I wanted to go short, but didn't have a particular cut in mind, so I talked to Le Lu about which style would suit me best, and I'm very pleased with the result. more

I don't let anyone else cut or color my hair but Brenda at Mission 6 Salon. Her cuts and color are impeccable and I always leave the appointment feeling happy and satisfied. Which alone makes the trip worth it from San Francisco. People always ask me where I get my cuts and highlights and I tell them I go to Brenda at Mission 6!
