Excellent!!!!!!!!!!! My son's 2010 F150 transmission failed and after asking around everyone recomended this place. They did a fantastic job and they financed the entire job without finance charges. Well, I paid around $2,500 in the end for a manual transmission rebuild. They gave a 1 year warranty with it but who knew there would be a 2nd and 3rd gear scratch within 5 months of the job being done. This being my only vehicle, I had no time between school and work to bring it in and get it fixed with the warranty. more

Easy, no hassle repair. This place really worked with me. I called them on a Sunday. They picked my car up that day, called me Monday, gave me a diagnosis, gave estimate same day, called me a day later & told me it was ready. I did not expect this type of service to be so easy. I recently had my elderly fathers car repaired at this location. They took care of the repair in a timely manner. The staff was very informative & polite. Andy did a great job with keeping me informed with updates on the status of the repair. I would and have recomended Snider Transmission to all of my closest friends and family. About 6 months ago i was down on my luck and on top of that my transmission goes out and needs to be entirely reconstructed. Not knowing what to do i called around and not one other automotive company was willing to work with me. I gave Snider a call and not only did they understand where i was financially and work with me but they also gave the best waranty i could find anywhere for a better price than i could find as well. They have the most instinctive and the most well rounded mechanics ive seen anywhere. Very Very smooth running buisness. Its nice to know these types of buisnesses still exist. This shop is dedicated to customer satisfaction. Even a year later! My transmission began to act up and the warranty had expired. Not knowing what to expect, Matt, Andy and the service team there were more than willing to make the necessary repairs at no cost even though my warranty was up. It's a good feeling to know that Snider runs a business of high integrity and professionalism. Going above and beyond is how I would describe this company. They didn't have to do this but they did because they said it was ""the right thing to do."" You don't find this too often now a days. I strongly recommend them to anyone considering this shop. more

I had problems with my transmission so I called a friend that I trusted and he recommended Snider Transmission in League City. I was aware of where the shop was but knew nothing more. When I arrived I talked to Andy who assured me they would take a look at the car for ""free"". A short while later I got a call and it was bad news the car needed further diagnostics that would cost more money. Matt assured me this would be necessary in order to find out what was going on. I was deeply concerned but went with it. We talked about replacing the transmission with a rebuilt one and also other options that I could take. Matt did not try to sell me a rebuilt as he felt it would not add any value to the car or give me a better transmission. The price for a Honda transmission was being quoted at $3,500 and the repair I was quoted was way less. Matt assured me he would put in writing everything that was done in servicing the cars transmission and he did just that. more

I brought my car here after I felt my tran slipping or hopping in first gear. They told me its was a simple fix and I could have it back in a couple of hours. Had a co-worker pick me up, then I got the call four hours later saying I needed a huge cost repair and that my transmission was already taken apart! I was stuck now! They had my car for over an week and now six weeks later..my car is doing it again. DO NOT GO HERE!!! more

I had them replace my transmission after a series of events had occured. The car seemed okay until about 6 months had passed. I took it back in because it was acting up. There were no codes so they asked me to continue to drive it. Shortly after this the codes appeared. It took a series of events to get the car fixed but Matt did a good job and I was not charged a dime. They are slow so don't go here expecting anything different. But they will fix your car. I took my car to have the fluid changed & was told the transmission needed replacement-used/ rebuilt best, new not a good option. Car was there about a week. I drove by on my way to and from work and it was in the same spot, day after day, near the street, so I could even see the pan dropped and sitting under the car - as it rained. Finally got the car back, drove down the street to get the oil changed - only to have the tech call me into the bay to show me that there was water in the transmission fluid. So I drove back to Snider and asked them to please fix this - transmission fluid isn't supposed to look like ""Strawberry Quik"". The transmission was never right. Every time I started the car it would drive for about a block and then pop out of gear. If I turned off the car, let it sit, and then started it again it would finally work, but it was a constant challenge. The third time I took it back and asked them to Please Get It Right the young man who was the office manager got in my face and screamed at me. I never went back - and I cannot recommend that anyone else go, either. Slow service, abusive-hot tempered young office manager, brush-offs if they don't want to get to you because they can't figure it out, only happy to see you if it's easy. THANK YOU SNIDER TRANSMISSION I went to Snider Transmission after going to my dealership. The dealer told me my computer was bad and needed to replace it. Snider checked it and there was nothing wrong with my computer. Snider instead found my problem was with my transmission, repaired it, and now it is running fine.
